What size jars do you cure in?

I typically use 1 pint (or is it 1 quart?) wide mouthed mason jars. In the past, I have used large half gallon sized jars that seal via a latch and rubber gasket. There was only a couple problems I found with these. First, it's very tough to tell if it creates a truely airtight seal, and that it is easier to get pockets of moisture in such a large jar while the buds on top may feel perfectly fine. The only way to really know is to dump them out, in which case sucks if you find that the buds are perfectly dry and didn't need burped at all. I like to use the amber colored mason jars just in case I forget a jar laying out, I don't worry about the light from near by windows degrading the THC.
 
Well if I’m using hygrometers in each jar will I really have an issue what size jar I use? That would save you dumping the jar out in vain. I’ve never cured this way but I’ve heard it works effectively.

Just leave air space on the top of the jar and in between the buds. Don’t pack it too tight. Advantage of going big, you need to have less hygrometers. Get jars as big as one of your plants can fill up plus 25% unused.
 
If thats what you are getting why not. Do the inital curing in those big jars. After they are mostly cured, divide it into 2 smaller ones for storage and another even smaller one for daily consumption. This way you don’t open jars constantly. Keep it cool and dark for long term storage. You can throw a boveda too. Thats what i do.

Well man, i usually use plastic jars of protein which are lightproof, airproof and the material is friendly for the weed, as its frienly for the protein which is consumed by the human..
About the size idk..about 10 Litres, and i fill the 3/4 of them..
Also this way let me to avoid having TOO MANY little glass jars.

quart mason or ball jars, just because they sell them everywhere, easy to replace if i break one. i did buy some small round hygrometers, and use a 2 inch hole saw to make a hole for them in the lids, so about half my jars have hygrometers in the lids

by the way, if you decide to do the lid thing, put the lid on a piece of wood, and drive the hole saw through with a hammer,
the lids are too flimsy, and the hole saw will tear the thin metal if you try to use a drill
