I think that was what is referred to as "a leap of faith" type of argument.

The US has by far the highest gun homicide rate of any developed nation. It's the number of guns and ease in getting them that is the problem. Wherever did you get the idea it was Ritalin?

Can we please have the same rate of gun homicide that Canada does? Do we need to sacrifice another 10,000 lives to the altar of the NRA this year? Just so that people can falsely believe that they are safer with that gun.

BTW, I'm all for gun owners using their weapon to off themselves. That's the most common time a firearm is put to the use it was designed for. I'm OK with that.
The flip side of your last point is that it is too easy for suicidal people to off themselves rather than getting the psychiatric care they desperately need.

Top tip don’t call someone a moron and then use advise when you mean advice. Also Switzerland is arguably a much better place to live. What can you mean by “greatest” country if the metric is the wisdom of its leader and the idiots in their millions who voted for him. America is currently an absolute disgrace, the world shakes its head.
Most of America exists in a fucking Dream, that will never be a reality

Take your pick, one of these songs is a fucking fantasy, the other reality, as I know it.

sounds like you just don't want it enough. people that do shooting like this person did dont just wake up and say hay lets go kill people. its planned for a decent amount of time. im sure they know repercussion and consequences. they just dont care about them
Fucking amazing what individuals will do for their 15 minutes of Fame, and why are they all, at least it seems to be the case to me , to be right wing neo-fascist racist pigs?

And the Left has a problem with violence?

Yea, their problem is that their pussy's that talk shit, but are unwilling to shed their blood in a just cause.

It's almost that time again it seems to shake the pillars of society in this country, and this time, take no fucking prisoners

I don’t think you can stop suicides by banning guns. Neither should we attempt to stop suicides, its an incredibly personal choice to off yourself and i support legalization of euthanasia. You can’t force someone to continue to suffer in the name of some perceived moral questions. So again, people will find a way to commit suicide in the absence of guns but you can stop these terrorists from commiting mass murders by banning guns.

"attempting to ban suicides by banning guns is like trying to ban drunk driving by banning cars!"

bad faith debate by an intellectually dishonest sycophant....

I think you dont know what you are saying. You take this argument and make a statement about suicide and how guns make it easier.

And i’m saying this terrorist act is enough to ban guns there is no need for an argument about suicide.

New Zealand is doing the right thing. A long time ago there was a massacre in Australia and they banned a lot of guns...since then no massacres.

Guns are tools to kill things. They have always been tools to kill things or to use as a forced to take things from others.

Pretty simple fact. Hard for many to get but simple. Like common sense really.

Why is it so hard to understand. And for the good of the many the few sometimes must surrender things. Welcome to civilization...

What's your idea wise guy? I'm sure you've got all the answers. Or are you just waiting for everyone else to give their ideas and opinions and try to nit pick at every detail? I haven't seen your VIABLE ANSWER! go on. Enlighten me. Or do you just want to be told what needs to be done??
this may be your first time having this conversation, but it's about the 999th time for me...so i've heard all the shallow thoughtless answer already...JUST do this, JUST do that...any suggestions that starts with JUST are useless...JUST means you haven't put any thought into the answer...if there were easy answers, they would have already been thought of and implemented....while i don't like it, and don't think it's healthy, gun ownership is part of our society. people have the right to keep and bear arms, in our constitution...the instrument our entire government and society is based on. you can't just go against that instrument with impunity...you have to change the laws, and that's an uphill struggle. it's complicated by people backing both sides of the issue, and some of those people aren't ethical. they have no compunction against lying, exaggerating, prevaricating...to achieve their goal, whether it's to keep guns, or to get rid of them...and everything they do or say is designed to alarm people, scare people, and motivate people to seek the same results they want, not to educate, inform, or enlighten people.....
it may seem like a simple question on the surface...but it goes very deep, and is very convoluted, and "Just" doing things, doesn't help
