Is this normal mid flower or should I raise my my lights.

Using two 300W viperspectras they are anout 14inches above the plants. Yesterday they looked normal today the leaves around the tops started to go upwards.

We’re at day 18ish of flower, 29 days since flip to 12/12
The plants also grew about 3 inches last night.

Flower is when the sex organs and buds start, as ive been reamed kindly time and time again on this forum. They didnt get pistils til about 11 post flip after the big veg stretch. Theres a short transitional period called pre flower that is post veg that can take a few days to weeks depending on phenos and if you vegged the plant to maturity

The general consensus for indoor plants is to count flowering time from the flip.

Those look like one month buds on nice healthy plants to me. :)

He was correct to identify flower time separately from 12/12 time. Its only common among indoor stoner pot growers to count 12/12 as part of flower time. No other gardener I've ever met or read info from would say a plant is flowering before it actually shows flowers. Commonly accepted does not trump biology. Many nutrient companies even label the "transition period" or "preflower period" separately and have a recommended dosages. This is a huge reason that new growers think their plants should be finished 2-3 weeks before they are actually mature. You wouldn't say a cannabis plant growing outside was flowering until it showed flowers, and it makes zero sense to do that inside. Counting from 12/12 is totally arbitrary since each plant takes a different amount of time to transition into flower. Some take 7 days, some take 20 days, it all comes down to genetics and environment.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to assault your thread, but you had the info and reason correct, and I didn't want "broscience" to get in the way of biology :).
