I wont miss anymore. Hey @Randomblame wait till you see this light I'm building for someone. 60 strips 1920w that will be expandable up to 2880w by adding in two drivers later on down the road if he chooses to expand. 60 strips put on 4 hlg480s. I think itll be the biggest single led light built.

That sounds like a pretty serious light. If I add my divider light and crank everything up to 10, I can pump out around 1600 watts, which is ludicrous in a 5x5. Softer and more efficient for win in my setup.

Edit- that setup consists of 45 - 2' strips and 16- 4' strips. I am currently running 30-2 footers and 12- 4 footers at about 800 watts total.

Sound like a fecken bright fixture, bro.
2880w or 45w/sft is enough to cover a 8x 8' area with +1100μMol/s/m². 1920w or 30w/sft should be still ~750..
Pretty sure your buddy is more than happy with his 1st yield. For a 8x 4' its already so much that I would consider to also use side lights. Something like BGT's sun cloak for instance works extremely well.
I've only this two 12w strips added but I see already a huge improvement on the lower buds.

Yeah he probably wont ever go bigger. But it's nice to have the option to go bigger without buying a whole new light.
