Awesome. I know me and a bunch of others want to just reach in and pluck out 100 leaves. Lol
HAHA...I hear ya - I still haven't done much defol (again, it's my paranoia of discarding leaves that we use later on...) but it's getting more and more annoying with so much green getting in the way...we'll see if I get the courage to remove more of that bottom bush...lol
Oh and can see a little Ca deficiency. Or is it just the pic?
You are absolutely correct!!! I had counted that out since I've actually been adding Cal-mag to my water, but as it turns out I haven't been adding nearly enough, plus the pH is a bit too high (6.4-ish) for them to uptake the Ca. So.... I've now upped my Ca (doubled it plus a bit more) and I'm also lowering the pH on the WW and BMD down to about 5.5-7 to allow them to increase their Ca uptake...we'll see in the next few days if that stops the rusty leaf problems (yes, the BMD is also showing some of the same deficiency..)
By the way, this
link is awesome for diagnosing Cannabis deficiencies... when I saw the below picture from that page, I knew it was exactly my problem..confirmed!
I plumbed my reverse osmosis from the furnace room up to my kitchen sink and also downstairs to another sink. If you have access to your house plumbing and can pull pipe it really does pay off in time savings. The other thing I did to make life easier is to put down a base of milk crates with plywood on top. Then place your tent on top of it. Tossed a huge tray inside the tent with a bulkhead drain on it. I can spill inside the tent and it drains safely. So I could just take a waterfarm and drain it by just tilting the blue hose to the tent floor. Then again if I was growing fantastic plants like Dayzt I might not change a thing!
Great idea to split the RO filtered water line to your basement! I'm not sure I want to mess with ours, as it's a fairly small filter system...something to think about though! I get some good exercise hauling water buckets up/down the stairs though, so for me it does have its fitness advantages..lol.
My tent is way too big to put the whole thing up on crates.. (5.5 x 7), but that's a great idea for a small tent! If you have enough space above the waterfarm (between the light and plant) after doing that, then it would make perfect sense, as long as the top of your tent doesn't hit the basement ceiling..?
No worries on the comments/suggestions...its all good, I like to hear new ideas! I tend to get stuck in my methods and don't change things around when they're already working..but there's definitely lots of improvements that can always be made!
