Hi Guys!
I have about 5 - 10 days left before harvest.
I'm going to re veg my plant and plan on putting it in a 1 gallon pot to do it.
Not sure if it would be different in soil vs coco.
Do you guys leave it in the solo cup or pot up when you re veg?
I would uppot. To a bigger pot. You need to leave at least 5 small nugs on the reveg. I have a reveg going and my light schedule is 24/0, 18/6 would be okay too. The goal with a reveg is to reignite the root tips so you can get new growth (the weird single bladed leaves at first). The last few weeks of flower, root growth is stagnant. Try using kelp as that helps reignite root tips. It takes about 2 and a half weeks for the plants hormones to switch back from flowering to veg. When you see that new growth that means a root tip reignited.

I have an opposite view, sort of.
Root pruning can stimulate new root growth, having in too big of.a.container makes water management more of.an issue for me.
I know root pruning is like topping. You get way more roots. Ive never tried cutting the roots to get a reveg but I think ill try sometime. Use a fabric type pot if watermanagement is an issue.
He could also put the flowering plant into 18/6 and let the plant finish there. Then as soon as he sees new growth he could harvest his plant and leave the reveg growth there. Also, doing that would not lower the quality of the bud. But of course he cant do that because of this comp.

I have all 3 plants going.
I'll re veg all 3 and maybe do it different ways.
I figured up potting would need less attention, watering less often.
When I re veg a plant that is in a 3 or 5 gallon pot I cut out the center root ball and put it in a 1 gallon pot with an inch or two of fresh soil around it and have never lost one. I do it that way for space reasons in my 3 x 3 veg tent. I've been running 17 / 7 and might go back to 18/6 soon to see if they like it.
