Expensive seeds vs less expensive seeds

What do you pay for when you get a pack from cannarado, ethos etc? Compared if i got a pack from barneys, greenhouse, dinafem or humboldt seed org. thats more on the cheap side.

Rarity, stability, quality or what?
 
One of my favorite plants came from a single G13 labs freebie seed. I've also had some beautiful plants from K.C. Brains, and the seeds were super cheap.

On the flip side I have no problem paying $10-12 a seed if it is supposed to be dank. I know how to clone and can keep any plant going that I want.

I've also had packs of seeds from reputable breeders turn out like shit. I didn't write off that breeder or strain even. Just moved on for now.
 
Im on my second run of barneys farm. Think im going to do a third run with critical kush.

After that I Will be looking to go with a different breeder.

The Think is i rather order from the breeders homepage instead of a seedbank. Dont really trust seedbanks.

Same here thundercat. G13 pineapple express. Yielded huge with dank resonous buds, smelt and tasted sooo good. I ordered a 5 pack about a year ago, only 2 germed and 1 grew that shit i chopped it. The other was average. Just ordered another 5 hoping to get that same pheno. A bit hit and miss i think. But ive also heard G13 aint what it used to be??

Seedbanks played an important function where it was hard for breeders to operate legitimately in public before...
ANd they still do in countries with prohibition
 
Price doesn't directly correlate with quality.

Take seed junky for example. 150 a pack and his stuff is not tested and has a high chance of herming. He has good stuff sometimes but if I'm paying that much for a pack, Im expecting a lot more that that. Ive seen issues with in house as well though at least with them, you're almost guaranteed to have a keeper.

Now take Bodhi for example. Bodhi is on sale for 70 for 2 packs at GLG and you're very likely to get a few keepers. Same with Jordan of the Islands which are 60 cad with a free pack thrown in. All my best plants are from Joti. Hell, even Jah seeds which is a dollar a seed has some pretty decent stuff.

Don't get caught up in the hype. Do your research. It's very much a gamble but with proper research you can maximise your bets. Right now, I'd go Bodhi, Big Worm, Thugpug or Joti. I can vouch for any of those personally and they won't break the bank. I'd rather buy 2 packs of any of those than go all in on 1 super expensive pack

Double black!! Will have to look into that! I shared some of my G13 pineapple express to a few friends and they gave some to some of their friends. 2 years later i still hear the odd person say the best stuff they ever tried was pineapple express a couple of years ago. I just smile to myself thinking that was my shit! :lol:

Cannarado has some solid packs. As someone has already said bodhi and Joti are inexpensive but are quality seeds.

Oregon Elite has some 4/20 sales going on, and you can get couple of expensive packs on sale.
