First Indoor set up, do I need more light?

My first time ever growing indoors, starting with a small operation I can slowly build on over time.

It seems to be vegging quiet well, my question is more revolving around whether or not I have enough light for flowering.

Specs are..

2.5ft x 2.5ft x 5ft marshydro tent
Phlizon 600W L.E.D (108 actual W)
Carbon filter & 6" inline duct fan.
Small fixed desk fan to keep some circulation.

I had initially hung that 120W L.E.D bulb as a light to use for general maintence rather then dealing with the terrible purple haze from the growlight.
However I just decided to always leave it on as well.

I’m assuming that bulb is 15-17 Watts which puts you at about 19w per square foot. Not quite enough. People will bash the blurples but I am quite satisfied with mine.

Thanks for the input.
I was trying to get a clear answer on whether or not the phlizon 600W is capable of flowering well in a 2x2 space (single plant)

If its on the lower end would it be an idea to perhaps daisy chain an additonal phlizon 600W or invest in a basic HPS setup?

Can you return the light you have and get your $$ back?

Not trying to be a dick but If you can it opens up other options and use that money towards new setup

If you can not I would add more light. You can stick with same brand and daisy chain prob the easiest way. Or drop a smaller hps and run hybrid setup both lights but hps may create heat issues that you will need to deal with

It will work but you will not like the yield and if your gonna do this you might aswell go as big as you can or go home

Well I'll keep the light regardless, end plan is to have two small tents. Veg / Flower. Ideally have 1 plant in each at all times.

For the mean time, if daisy chaining an additional light is the easiest option for increasing my overall yeild in my current single tent operation i'll do it.

But for the second 2x2 tent set up, what would be my best option for a functional little flower tent?

Ive read HPS gives the best spectrum (thoughts on that?
HPS wattage for a 2x2 tent?

COB L.E.Ds seem to be another route as well.

Game of thrones tonight and in a fews hours i will come try to help you

You have a bunch of options here depending on what you want to spend to add the light you need

Just have to manage whatever heat we add if go with hps

did you buy second tent? do you have space for a 3x3?

Okay, awesome. Thanks guys! Very helpful.
For the mean time a second 108w L.E.D daisy chained will be the easiest route

250W HPS 2x2 tent is a good foundation to build on for the flower tent.

Thank you.

No, I planned on doing 1 or 2 runs in a 'budget L.E.D setup'
Im well aware of, you get what you pay for.. however if i simply dont enjoy the process of growing im not overly invested.

That being said, ive loved it so far.

Second tent will come soon.
Not much available space, however there is a verbal agreement with the misses on two 2.5ft x 2.5ft tents.

If you did not buy second tent compare prices on 3/3 with 250-400 convertable

I would wait then on second tent and see how you do

No clue, I have never ran a light that small. I would say probably an extra 65% more heat.

If you got a 3x3 tent a 400 watt HPS or 315 watt CMH would rock it.
Yeah thats what im thinking

I used two of those to veg 4 plants in a 4x4 grow area with Mylar on all 4 sides, open top, they did fine, then I bought the 1200w (300 watts) as I’m into 3 days of 12/12, so far so good, not sure about the 1200w covering the 2 plants, at 18” the foot print isn’t very large, personally i like one light per plant, i think one 900w model per plant would work best.
