Re-veg seed production?

Im guessing you would create a very bad situation especially locally round the seed that could cause all outcomes :-)
 
I’m gonna say no because once introduced back to 18 hours or anything more than 12 it would be focusing on growing the plant not buds and seeds

Yeah man I stopped ciggie smoking about 5 years ago

just stopped again, and again with the help of Zyban(UK) cheaper in Ru tha than Swe ..lol

I once had a doctor a real nazi, who believed all smokers must go thru serious withdrawl as a preventive action to stop repeat smokers ....lol

Once a female is in flower it's usually a bad idea to revert and you know what its like when women get mad. ROFL JK JK
 
I had pollinated a flowering plant about a week before I harvested it and left the branch on that got dusted and flipped it to veg the day I harvested. By the time the plant started showing new growth 5 weeks later the seeds were ripe.

I only pollinated because a buddy brought over some pollen and it was the only flowering plant I had at the time so gave it a try and it worked. Didn't want to wait for the seeds before flipping back to 18/6 and I'm always up for an experiment.

I had a similar thing. I ran out of room in the tent so put a plant outside when the days were long. The plant re-vegged but the seeds continued to develop and ripened fully. I think once the seeds are forming they can continue to develop even if the plant is put back into vegetative lighting hours.

I’m super inexperienced BUT this is exactly what I was wondering about! Very interesting
 
Keep in mind that there are probably several factors that may effect whether or not a re-vegged plants seeds will continue to grow. The amount of time the plant was pollinated prior to re-veg. The strain. The strain this happened with for me was Ketama which is a fast flowering Indica that can exhibit autoflowering traits. The males were flowering under 24/7 lighting. So while the seeds may develop it's probably not a guarantee that they will.

Yes, but I don't see why you would do it on purpose, for reasons stated above. I had to leave the house for a while and left some seedlings in solo cups. The person in charge watered them alright, but forgot to turn the light on at night so they went to flower, a male among them. When I came back I put them on a 24 hour light schedule, they took a looong time to reveg and start growing again, and then some sweet time growing single fingered leaves. Just this week, as I transplanted them, I picked a few mature seeds from the now vegging plants, although most calyxes wilted and dried. So if I wanted, I could have the seeds grown by the time I finish their mother, which I thought was odd but kind of cool.

Yeah basically I have some males outside in flower and put a female out there (veg) for space reasons for a couple days. Was wondering if I left her a few more weeks if that would be a safe way to pollinate and maintain space before grabbing another tent.

It might work. Give it a try. If there are white pistils you can pollinate. What do you have to lose?
