I plan on taking mine a little longer.
The crystals became noticeably more milky the last few days in the mid section.
I'll make it on time though probably harvesting by 4-23-19 then having some time to dry.
It doesn't seem fair if someone needs more time and is pressured into harvesting early.
Dawgs may 1st cutoff only states harvest pics not weight. So, even if we go past the date we are still technically in. Unless he changes it again.

I e-mailed Ace seeds.
I wish they said it doesn't amber lol.

Hi
I asked a question through your website and maybe it didn't go through.

I am growing Bangi Congo x Panama.

Does this strain amber or is it a strain that finishes with milky crystals?

I'm in an RIU grow comp and plan on harvesting Friday if they should only turn milky.

Please ask the grower who would likely know the answer.

Thanks!

Hi Bill,

All the marijuana strains amber the trichomes if you let them ripe enough.
The right moment to harvest is a personal decision of the grower, based on growers' taste and on other variables like growing conditions.

You can do a test: harvest a part of the plant with milky trichomes and other part with more amber trichomes.
Then let the harvest dry and cure properly and compare both harvests, then you will learn when do you prefer to harvest based on your personal first hand experience.

Kind regards,

Damn that panama strain has 11-12 week flowering time. The cross you have is probably leaning towards that. Cant find much on bangi congo.

Harvest pics....Of the plant hanging drying or already dried?
"You will have 5 Days to post 1 pic from each week...." Eh, I delete pics from my device after they are uploaded here. That is a lot of pics to go back and hunt thru, unless I totally misunderstand this rule.

Nope The Cutoff Date Is May 1st The May 10th Deadline Allows Grower 10 Days For Drying Time :peace:
What if my dry chamber takes 14 days for the product to dry? If I cut my plant down now it will not be to its full potential. I petition @The Dawg and his may 1st cutoff date in respect for all the other players to be able to bring their plant to max potential so we can have a fair chance at getting vote. Im sure some will vote against early harvest.

On their website it's 9 - 11 weeks.
If I go to the end of the month it will have been 10 1/2 weeks since she showed sex.
What has me interested is my #2 plant has some nice swollen calyx's.
It has some extreme fox tailing, it is the tallest and closest to the light.
My entry has small calyx's still and may still swell.
14 days should do it.
This is #2, glad it wasn't my entry.

Come on man dont be like that. 5 days to cure wtf I need to look this up.
I finished grabbing all the pics I liked from every week.
But for real man you should let people finish/harvest when they feel is right.

It's called putting in work bro, how bad you want a Prizey Prize?
Nah,It's not about the work.Looking for a little clarity is all. I didn't know the prizes were still an option. My only goal was bringing her to harvest, getting some good smoke & cherishing the fact that of all of us who started the comp, didn't finish.

Wait, cure, or dry?

It al depends on the growers atmosphere and humidity like I live in a wood log cabin.. shit dries sometimes too fast, I'm okay with that but again that's drying curing is a different story that should take weeks even months for a. Ice good cure.

I'm done and harvested so I'd vote to not vote lmfao just like poking the bear ;)
