Salutations,
Quite frankly i'd be most curious to read the comments of those who got victimized during Justin's "Légaleezation" process, like this guy i saw a few minutes ago on local TV, who resides in St-Jérôme where he can't consume his legal cannabis (by inhalation) anywhere else than the passenger seat of his own car, with its engine off, most evidently. We heard there's already over 200+ contestation cases opened by our provincial "Régie du Logement" after landlords changed related articles of pre-existing lease contracts to ban cannabis retroactively (...), so it's effectively going to translate as a multiplication of "justice" processes - which a professional confirmed as to conclude this brief sample of "Stoner$"/"Droÿé$" TV news (for a change, though on a "4-20")! It appears consumers are now expected to fight in courts for the right to smoke (or vaporize)...
Briefly put in my province we're going through an historical injustice directly inherited from
federalist Liberal tradition left by "
doctor"
Henri-Sévérin Béland, who
failed to correct my province's misleading
1890 classification of "
Indian Hemp" as "
POISON" (besides
arsenic and
cyanure); his motives being much simpler than most people seem ready to recognize: this was an
UNILATERAL TRANSFER of Québec's
PROVINCIAL COMPÉTENCE as previously established by Canada's dominion law under authority of Queen Victoria and her British Empire. Etc., etc. Many decades past, then the August 24th publication of 2016 failed to generate due attention:
That was before
Hydropothecary (Gatineau) changed its name to
Hexo so we can forget about
BANNED pesticides as myclobutanil, which degrade into
hydrogen cyanide, a serious neurological threat even at very low doses... Though it turns out cannabis smoking also generates hydrogen cyanide and hence it's a perfect ("
CHEAT") opportunity to use such reprehensible/industrial stratagem as this most particular situation to identify non-detection levels still allowing hope for some commercial return - which they actually have and this information got dispatched by mass-media right before January 1st of 2017, when a lot of voters weren't even paying attention... The fall just before we had the Halloween "science" of Trudeau at Montréal's Marriott hotel, with
Kevin Sabet,
Nora Volkow and
Didier Jutras-Aswad only to name a few.
Anyway, i finally decided to walk into one of our
SQdC stores only to observe that my request for THC/CBD ratios between 2:1 and 4:1, essentially, caused the clerk to offer a sealed/black bottle of Penelope (
7.76 % THC /
6.12 % CBD) from
Tweed (K7A 0A8, e.g.
Ontario!). Once home i found a mix of close-trimmed nuggests ranging from debris to lame-size, honestly i yet have to find sufficient motivation to plug my microscope.
In any case this actually means i initially asked for highly a "recreative" (THC) though somewhat CBD-tempered product and left out with "medical" stuff corresponding to their "best" possible match... No need to say i wasn't specially surprised nor impressed. A lesson which cost 10 $ a gram, to top it all.
Euh...
Then lets evoke those who really got abused by an institutionalized bigotry system. The
Emery couple from Vancouver, for example. Or considering i just mentioned
2016 then why not also name
Bony Jean-Pierre aka Jean-Pierre Bony who got
KILLED over ~8 oz (e.g. ~ 3-plants harvest!) not even his own, the same month
Hilary Geller enjoyed her triomph after "organizing"
UNGASS 2016, as an installed mandarin formerly "serving" at H.-C., at least until she got her chance to leave a durable impression on health-wise tobacco alternatives as well. Etc.
So...
Personally i feel great having thouroughly resolved my customized VG pipe (DiY) project, but as part of a socio-toxic society collectively focussed on predatory
VILIFICATION attitudes including further anti-cannabic demonization on TV, every few days or so when it's not via
direct government-paid propaganda (...), etc. Euh...
Around here on Canuck land some new industry is born which is fueled by "the sins" of "others", those just like you and me it seems. Meanwhile the UN's position on CBD cannabis (as in smoker substitutes...) feels like
Déjà Vu at best, or simply more "
Prohibition v2.0".
It's more like Québec's "4-20" is now synonymous with "je me souviens", enjoy the view...
Good day, have fun!!
