Day 29 and still no information on shipping my 900 dollar order. I'm filing no shipment of parts through PayPal. This is unacceptable @welight not only is the shipping time frame absurd. But I paid to have thermal tape applied which is not happening now. And it's still taking this long to get a product. I've been way more than patient. I have a business to run. I dont take 30 days to send someone that orders stuff. I will never order through cutter again.

Not sure I understand, you would have got tracking details from DHL, according to DHL you parts are moving through LA as we speak???

My vote for next up for testing are the new nichia optisolis chips that cutter got in stock.
Theres 3000k, 4000k and 5000k in 98cri. They look like they peak around 660nm. Have look at the spectrum and tell me if it doesnt give you slight led boner. Might try to do a solstrip with 2000k / 4000k 98 cri and a 660/UV channel and be done with all this spectrum jiggling...

Good you got it together.
Regarding Optisolis, the real magic of optisolis is in the 5K version,4k is nice but 5k is where the magic spectrum really is. It would be good to blend 5K and 4K together as they use 2 different pumps to fill things out for veg then have 660nm and 730nm for flowering.

Thats the one with some added 420nm? Iirc its the only one on their web that doesnt show a spectrum, but i i thini saw it when theybhad them.in stock a while ago.
Dont know if i i need that if im already adding some near uv on my third solstrip channel. In any case i would love to see some numbers on these if you have a chance. If Mark wont let you try some i might get him to make me some and let you try it.

And imagine how good Cutter's web page would look on their Optisolis strip offering if it had one of your 1 page summaries from your Viso test equipment! In sales you are always looking for and edge, something to make you stand out and look better than the competition. That would do it. No other vendor is offering a report like that on their lights. And it would be a win-win. They would look better and you would get your name out there! Think about it.

I was just asking your subject comparison. So I'm taking it you're saying it is basically a tie. I know The Dawg tried a 5K grow and was happy with it.
I think it's human nature, but eventually in almost every thread someone gets their panties in a wad, and the name calling starts. Then a real pissing contest starts. Several good threads have been locked for just that.
I wouldn't look for human nature to change anytime soon.

I've flowered with clear up 6500k. 6500k didnt do as well. But 5k really brought trichs. But it was 5k with 660nm and 672nm. Heavy on the 660s. But yielded very very well. No fluffy bullshit nugs.

I think dawg did a run with 5000k + 730nm for the purpose of eliminating stretch in some sativas.
