I got customers running Gavitas at 7 feet from the canopy and pulling 2-3LB Average height is about 5 feet.

I could see 5 feet, and sure, even 7 feet, but these big huge rooms always seem to have the lights WAY above that...

Look at the reflectors they are using. Same kind used in factories so the lights are way up out of the way but all the output is focused to give a good spread down on the floor. You can bet they figured out the right spacing to get even coverage too.
I'd hate to work in a place like that!

With the glass top those could also be just to extend the light period so between the HID and Glass roof there still could be enough photons hitting the plants to grow them decently.
