Humidity is super low. 26%. 68F. CMH 630 on this table, 1000s on the others. Coco medium with daily watering. GH flora plus cal mag. Was gonna flip tomorrow but they seem weird. Is it humidity? Flipping could help that maybe, less heat should be more humidity in theory.
 
Not a flood table. Light watering by hand everyday. I’m it could be air or heat though. It’s been hot during the middle of the day and I’ve been blasting fans.

Do a search on vpd and try to dial it in to comfortable levels. Yes..26% is too dry, and with your lights..im sure the canopy is a bit too hot and way too dry! Its why the leaves look better as you get lower..at the top..they're all wrinkled/puffy/tacoing slightly...result of improper transpiration.

Any advice on raising RH? My humidifier took a shit on me.
 
Trays of water on any available surface...hang up wet towels...that sort of thing...and of course will need to be renewed regularly. Had to deal with that in the past. Now in a humid clime which is nice. Good luck...

Thanks. I just ordered another humidifier and decided to wait to flip till it’s dialed in. It’s been so wet lately and all of a sudden it dried up while I’m not paying attention. Thanks for the help

When I lived in a really cold climate...heated winter air was always super dry. I had one of those larger cabinet type humidifiers with a fabvric belt revolving through a reservoir that needed to be topped up. That type works good...but like any device, maintenance is needed.

Read up on Vapor pressure deficit as Blitz suggested. If it's too dry...the stomata close up to protect the plant. So no transpiration means no new nutes drawn upward to plant. No growth follows....or poor growth.

I keep a couple of spray bottles filled with water and give the plants a shower when they tell me they're ready.
The plants like it and mites don't.

As an aside I also mark various spray bottles, so I don't confuse them. "Plant water" "Neem" "Sulfur" etc.
Spraying seedlings with the wrong bottle makes them unhappy. Good luck.

Ya I hope so...

I'm posting a vpd graph. I've seen a half dozen around...the idea is that if you keep the temp/RH within the "zone" then plant transpiration can occur most effectively.

I assume that the small numbers represent leaf temp using some sort of infra-red sensor or some such thing.

I only refer to the numbers on the vertical and horizontal axis. And those are room temp vertically compared to acceptable humidity for that temp. Keep it in the green.

I think the vertical temp is leaf temp and the numbers in the middle are the kPa, which is the vpd reading if I read stuff correctly earlier. I ordered an infared gun.

Well good for you...hope it helps getting the room dialed in. I'm lucky to live where humidity is fairly high and so far...no correction to RH needed.
