You're conflating party with philosophical grounding. It's ok you lazy fucks, I'll help you once more.

Democratic socialism is a political philosophy that advocates political democracy alongside social ownership of the means of production, with an emphasis on self-management and
democratic management of economic institutions within a market or some form of decentralised planned socialised
economy.
If I wanted to vote for a Democratic socialist to run for President (and I might) which candidate should I vote for and what party are they affiliated with?

I would personally prefer a electoral system which favors ranked choice voting, so personally it's a matter of how many boxes they check for me. If you want my personal opinion as to who you might like, maybe Mike gravel, or a social Democrat(closest thing) like warren would be a good middle ground. The only democratic socialists running would be Sanders and gravel. There are 3 social Democrats(4 if you include Sanders), which are Andrew Yang, Elizabeth Warren and maybe Tulsi Gabbard.

I think Warren is the safest candidate to vote for. Less contentious than Sanders, with very similar platform.

I can change your diaper too if needed you ignorant bootlicker.

Her own mother called her a pathological liar. Lmao.
Why did you put up a youtube with an opinion from a Sambo ass fool ? Kamala did not even speak on this youtube bullshit.
My wife is Jamaican. She does not smoke due to job. Her family members smoke and grow some of the best weed I have ever smoke in my life. Rastafarian believe in weed to a point of religious belief. I'm not going to penalize her for not correctly remember who she was listening to whilst high. I give her points for admitting smoking weed.
Much better than writing a story about women fantasizing about being raped by 3 men or say you are against a war but vote for it or saying you are against a crime bill whilst you vote for it.
and please no more opinionated youtube vides. Kamala did not even speak on it.

It's hilarious you believe any of that story. You could watch the clip where she lies, it's on YouTube; along with her giggling about giving teens criminal records for truancy.

she smokes weed and puts kids in jail for it, hypocritical dishonest liar. She didn't need to lie, but she did it anyway. Talk about desperate for acceptance.
Oh. SHE DID HER JOB as Attorney General for California?

Imagine that.

Is your information coming from this?

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2019/02/12/did-kamala-harris-pot-story-just-go-up-in-smoke-n2541343

I read it and the story is flimsy. They jump from her admitting to smoking weed in college, circa 1983, then jump to say she smoked weed while working in the SF AG office in the 90's based upon some 90's music references she attributed to her college days. Do better.

It's OK to fling shit at candidates you don't like. You don't even have to be honest about it. Politics isn't a game of bean bag toss. Be ready to be laughed at when your partisan ass is called out for it.

Didn't listen to the video. I don't get my information from talking heads on youtube. Cite something from a reputable source if you want to be believed.
The video did not even have Kamala speaking, just some sambo giving his opinion about something said on the breakfast club radio talk show. Guy hates Kamala because she incorrectly said she listen to tupac and snoop when high. .
I gave it a chance to see if he is making a point. BIG FAIL. reason why I don't listen to people when they use youtube to make a point.

What you prefer doesn't exist, child.

You make my point. If you want your policies to go forward you need support from Democrats. From all of us, not just the ones who are Democratic Socialists, because there aren't many of them. Yet you would ditch us if somebody deviates from your list of litmus tests. No wonder your kind aren't well liked. You kind (Cult of Sanders, etc.) are at best a benign tumor that can't live outside of the party but don't contribute to its health.

A Time to Be Bold

if social-democratic countries like Norway aren’t socialist, what is socialism?

Moving towards socialism involves subordinating the economic power of capitalists to the social power of the people. But fully realizing it does away with capitalists entirely. Only when the private decisions that have massive public implications are subjected to popular control will we have a democratic society.

This democratization could be achieved through a number of concrete institutions: grassroots state planning agencies, workers’ cooperatives, participatory boards. But what is essential is that the people have real, not just formal, democratic control over society’s wealth.

Our vision of socialism has no room for the following: production for the purpose of accumulating profit, private ownership of the main productive assets, markets for labor where most people need to sell their work to survive, and states that are unresponsive to the will of the people.

Only under these conditions can we begin to construct the concrete socialist institutions that will promote and reproduce equality of opportunity and solidarity.

If this is democratic socialism, and Democratic Socialists must have it all or nothing, then, nothing, thanks. We'll find other people to partner with. On the other hand, if Democratic Socialists will work with other Democrats to push for policies and programs we both agree are needed, then, yeah, pull up a chair and let's talk.

I'm absolutely honest when I say that's propaganda. I'm absolutely honest when I say I don't listen to that crap. I'm pretty careful about seeking information from reliable relatively unbiased media sources that are publish facts-based news reports and not the crap you just posted. The four main sources are NPR, NY Times, WaPO, Financial Times, a London-based newspaper.

A lot of youtube sources, that one for example, use propaganda and other deceptive practices to influence, not inform. I don't listen to that crap. It's poisoned you Cult of Sanders types.

Your response: to call me a liar.

As an FYI, here is a good article that provides guidance on how to identify when a youtube vid is using the techniques of propaganda.

https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/7996/273d350adef8105287dbce0584e340e9022f.pdf

Table 1 is especially useful. If you like, post a vid and I'll critique it according to the guidelines in that pdf. Jimmy Dore, Kyle Kulinski are favorite propaganda sites for Cult of Sanders types. I'm not familiar with Breakfast Club but could be persuaded to watch if you agree to read that pdf and tell me if you have reservations about its analysis. I have a theory that the wave of so-called Progressive youtube propaganda is financed by right wing political groups but I admit that it's just a suspicion and I have no hard facts about that.

Remember, propaganda is used to influence and not inform. Don't cite that crap to back up a point. Cite information, not propaganda.
