Biden vs Trump

I don't really like Biden. I hate Trump.

Why should I care which old white guy is going to drag his feet about cannabis legalization? I realize that there are other important issues, but I think we should consider this.

I would rather someone else run than Biden just because I'm not convinced that he can win in 2020. I don't really like his past comments about Marijuana. There are other issues with his image that bother me. He definitely isn't as creepy as the Donald. He is little bit of a creepy old white guy and the incumbent is the epitome and very archetypal embodiment of creepy old white guy.

Don't goad me into supporting the lesser of two creepy old white guys. That rules out Bernie too.

And if Bidens views on weed evolve?

Wrong.

He supports removing it from schedule 1, which would enable States more freedoms to move on to legalization on their own without any fear of the federal government interfering. It would also enable researchers to start looking into doing testing for more benefits of the plant, which they currently are forbidden from doing.

He also supports decriminalizing it, which would free up prisons overnight and remove the stigma around it.

What he's not for is unilaterally legalizing it. He's right. There are far too many idiots out there right now to do that. It has to be done properly, and more times than not, it's best to let the states handle it like California and Colorado have.

Contrary to popular belief, states do learn from one another and modify laws accordingly. In Atlanta right now, under an ounce on your person is decriminalized. It's no different than a parking ticket. I never thought I'd live to see that.

Slower is better when it comes to things like this. I actually side with Biden on his approach.

Removing weed from schedule 1 doesn't legalize weed.
So everything I said is correct. And it is the correct political move

Legalization is going to happen in this country.
There's too much tax revenue involved and public support, and that's why NY & NJ are going legal within the year.
Biden ain't going to stop any attempt to legalize, if he did, he would lose support from his enlightened base.
You want Federal change in the marijuana laws, vote Dem next year and take the Senate, win the WH, and it's a done deal.

Unfortunately.
Republicans will jump on the legalization band wagon. My guess is Trump will go for taking weed off schedule 1 before the election

Take your medicine. Before venturing out in public. You expect this from a bunch of shitasses willing to execute doctors for providing an elective abortion? You’re on heavy drugs.
Polling is over 60%.
Republicans are hypocrites.
They will jump on the bandwagon and say they have always supported "freedom"

Set a date before the next election. Put up or shut up. Then make a significant wager. Say a QP of high grade. No mids.

It. Won’t. Happen. You heard it here and from me.

“Recreational marijuana was just recently legalized in California this year – but reforms on the federal level have been stalled for decades. Yet, according to Rohrabacher, that will soon change: “It could be as early as spring of 2019, but definitely in the next legislative session.”

You betcha. Check what Congress is working on. Let us know the bill numbers.
