Again, not the point.

The point is, those shops are worthless because they stock no parts at all. Tesla, by not paying its bills in a timely manner, have pissed off so many suppliers that several of them are presently taking legal action against them.

That's why they can't stock any parts for repairs - they're so busy trying to sell to someone new they don't give a fat rats ass about anybody that's already bought one.

But don't take my word for it. Take theirs.
  • Tesla customer rating on Better Business Bureau is 2 starts out of 5.
  • Consumer Reports gives Tesla a below average rating. Tesla has plunged to near the bottom of service and customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Consumer Affairs rates Tesla as poor with 2.5 stars out of 5.
  • Trustpilot has a rating of poor with 2 stars out of 5.
It's also a horrible place to work with a Glassdoor rating of 1.5 stars out of 5.

There's really nothing at all good about the company on any front except for cool aid drinkers that jack the stock price up every time Elon Musk tweets.

If Musk tweeted the earth was going to end tomorrow, I have no doubt you'd put a bullet in your skull because you'd believe him.

Tesla community mobilizes to help in Elon Musk’s end-of-Q2 push: Here’s why they do it

Tesla volunteers are mobilizing once more to help the electric car maker deliver as many vehicles as it can before the end of the second quarter. These volunteer-driven initiatives are happening not only in the United States, but in foreign territories as well. Earlier this month, for example, reports emerged stating that Tesla owners from Beijing are volunteering their time and effort to help the company hand over electric cars to new buyers.

This remarkable community-driven initiative initially started out of necessity amidst Tesla’s efforts to hit profitability back in Q3 2018, but it quickly evolved into something of a tradition among electric car enthusiasts. For some Tesla owners, volunteering their time and helping the company is a worthwhile endeavor, and it is something that they do not mind doing every quarter. This is true for the Tesla Owners Silicon Valley group, who visited three Tesla locations this Friday to deliver over 100 donuts for the electric car maker’s employees.

Consumer Reports Feb 2019......
"Tesla currently holds the top spot on our list of brands that satisfy owners the most, based on their new vehicle lineup.

“In most cases, reliability issues will undermine satisfaction,” Fisher adds. “But when a vehicle has an enthusiastic following, like with Tesla, owners may overlook some issues. We’ve seen this with other vehicles such as the Jeep Wrangler and Chevrolet Corvette.”

For the record, I've actually changed my mind on nuclear fission.

I still prefer renewables like solar and wind, but fission has it's place.

@ginjawarrior So there you go, you were correct.

Vote republicans out.....
This is what it looks like when the Republican party is in it's death throes.

Republican leaders in Oregon have already conceded that Democrats are likely to be in full control of government for the foreseeable future. The few remaining Republican-held districts are trying to drag this state down instead. They showed that they have no idea how to govern. Now they prevent others from doing so out of spite.

Tesla Beating Competitors Even With Its Hands Tied
Car and Driver said Tesla’s Model 3 was the best-selling luxury car in America for 2018. This is even more impressive when you consider that only 10 states allow Tesla’s direct sales model, 11 states have banned it, and many states restrict Tesla to just a few stores. In short, Tesla outsold every other luxury car with its hands tied behind its back. Consider that the next time you read that Model 3 demand has peaked....

Funny how those I have personally spoken with have a completely different opinion of their experience working there.

I wholeheartedly agree with every word of this post- except the last sentence. It's just uncalled for.

Your obsession with putting companies and political parties on pedestals where they can do no wrong is blinding you to reality.

For example, if the Democrats were anywhere near as great as you say, America would not be in the mess it's in today- let alone with the active assistance of many Democrats in successive administration along the way!

Painting one side black and the other side white is simplistic to the point of being ignorant of the truth.

I admire your loyalty- beware it isn't misplaced.

What perfect Tty style "Vulcan logic". It's the Democrats' fault that Trump is doing so much damage to the country is kind of like him saying "If my girlfriend had more self-confidence, she wouldn't let me force her to go have sex with strangers in a sleazy hotel room so that I could take most of her earnings and spend it on crack. It's her fault!".

And yet, on a certain level, we all know that is probably how he justifies it.

Fucking sad.
