I did feel a little left out.. :bigjoint:
Yeah I had heard of the company but these are new to me too, look good.
I have yet to set up my prawn boards though but maybe one day I might have a little play around.

Glad to see your still about man. Hope those roses come good for ya too. bongsmilie
Me too man. They require more work than herb plants though I tell ya. Constant pruning and constant attention when I can. I dont even have anything growing at the moment. I just dont have time right now. Top 10 would be sweet. But top 50 I'd be proud. 1st place get over 250k but I dont have a prayer lol.

How hot are the strips, and the frame? Got an IR thermometer for measurements? I assume you can touch the frame and the back of the strips comfortably

Currently running 100w at the wall and with a metal probe on the back of one strip it’s reading 35* I can’t feel any heat, once I flip I will know, I want heatsinks though so I can run 2100ma

Thanks! Website lists them as heatsink-free up to 1400mA. These seem to be the only 301h with 660+730 option in europe so I'm considering getting some

Out of curiosity, you want to run 2100mA in the same space? Or you are planning something else with these strips, like running CO2. Because in that 1400mA example it gets some of the best par maps I've seen. I assume you are using 700mA now

The map is in a 2x2 I have them in a 2.5 x 2.5 but would like to run them in a 3x3 if I can push it, also so I can run abit higher maybe, I don’t know why I want to run 2100ma lol

Yes running at 100w whist still vegging

Turns out if I put a little fan above them just to move the heat the temp drops down to about 30* but lower when the temp drops at night. I don’t think 1400 would be a problem at all like stated on these

Oh and I hear they are bringing out some other boards with red and far red aswell. I can’t wait to see them as may be my next upgrade

@Moflow @whytewidow @coreywebster
guys can some one tell me what those black resistors on the strip
what are thay doing
and do thay do something to the efficiency or the performance?
I believe they keep each string exactly equal so in a way would help I suppose. Drop them a email you will be surprised at how open and helpful they are. I want to buy 4 boards but I can’t take my other light down for 4-5 weeks so not sure what to do, don’t want to buy something then change my mind lol

From a quick read is that saying it’s not a bad thing? I did wonder why invisible sun use them but hlg and others don’t, I figured they could save losing a string of diodes maybe
Could be to do with the different sammy diodes on the strips, h, red, far red needing slightly differing voltages and the resistors balance the strings out?
I can't see it being a bad thing. A belt and braces approach, to be sure to be sure... lol
As you were saying an email to them will get the answer for sure.
