last fall there was a few people but I cant rember who it was, that said there was stuff to spray for mold befor it starts they sayed that stuff would eat the mold befor you could see it..so whats the best out door spray befor the mold starts.
I use Dr. Zymez Eliminator...can be used throughout grow up to and including day if harvest. Also works on bugs.
You can also use essential oils... I use rosemary, peppermint, Clove and cinnamon, in veg only. Clove and cinnamon both have anti fungal properties

I know Bud Rot does not spread when using Actinovate, or Serenade. I used them too.
Botrytis is systemic. Once it starts you cant stop it with sprays. Actinovate and serenade work great as a preventative but wont stop an infection. I agree with what @thumper60 said in regards to genetics, plant health and weather as the biggest factors when combating botrytis.

LOL well I guess my plants never survived with next to no bud rot then. I also must be seeing things when the rot does not grow back. lmao

If you're using those sprays prior to getting mold I bet they work well. I did mention their effectiveness as a preventative. What state are you in?

Best preventive is to pray for sun. Last two years here in NW Florida the summer rains didn't stop with fall, and everything I had out got rot to some degree. You have to cut it out quick and spray above and below the spots with H2O2. When your plants are heavy with bud, and it rains everyday, some of it is going to rot.

Here we have 80% and up for rh until well into or through September, which is when the rain starts, and night time temps drop to between 8 and 12C. Fog and dew pretty much every morning. I'm a bit worried about my Bakerstreet given she's an indica landrace. I'll be trying out potassium bicarbonate as a preventive, as soon as flowers start to form, and as a treatment for powdery mildew that has shown up on a Cherry Bomb plant. Another grower just north of me in the same province has had good results with it. He got it from amazon, called Green Cure. You can also get a pound of the pb powder from Walmart for $20. That should last most people more than a season since it's mixed at a tablespoon per liter.

The active ingredient in GreenCure is Potassium Bicarbonate. They both work great for PM. When I get bud rot it is brought on by caterpillars. BT seems to take care of the cats. Prayer might help with better weather.

I can't use BT because my sister is raising monarch butterflies, and the milkweed she collects the eggs from is pretty close to my grow. Though she loses most of the eggs to ants before she can get them. I'll just have to watch for signs of caterpillars, though I don't know what species would be a problem around here.
Sorcery might work best for the weather:fire:
