Flowering clone issues

I cloned 8 flowering clones for the first time. While they all took 3 of the 8 stayed in flowing mode and hardly grew. They all were kept in 18 /4 light. I took it from two different strains not to sure which was which. Is this normal.

The last ones i done literally took best part of a month to root, reveg and begin to grow.
Imo not worth it, its the waiting about not knowing that kills it for me. Id rather take clones in vegging after a week or two theyve rooted, i know where i stand then and begin to train.

On the flip side, I only ever clone 3rd week of flower, it regularly takes 3-4 weeks to root. But I always do it this way because I have higher success, and the results are explosive. Also my strains are 13-14 weekers, so I have the time...

If you have the time and patience by all means i agree 100%. Monster cropping is like a super fim end up with a bush well worth it if youre patient. I just get far too impatient, im on the opposite end i try to finish all mines by about 8-9 weeks max.

First it takes them longer to root. Did you remove all the flower that was on them? Also did you feed them?

I also keep mine slightly drier than my veg clones. Too much water seems to kill them. They always seem to be a pain for me. I'm trying to root some Blue Ripper flowers right now. Started wth 7, now I have 3...hoping for the best. I'm going to try to reveg the plant once I harvest if I can find the space.

These were cloned at same time under the same conditions ,they may be different strains white widow & critical mass ) 3 of 8 stayed in flowering like state and never grew much. Did not remove any of the small buds when cloned. While I have more than I need I find it curios what went wrong? I think I will try throwing it back to 12 hours of light to see what happens.
