Renewable Energy + Battery Storage = Fossil Fuels Obsolete, Even Natural Gas

There is no operating thorium per generation station on Earth as yet. Therefore it's still an experimental technology, far from 'mature', but for someone who goes by the numbers you sure play fast and loose with words.

Geothermal energy generated from Yellowstone would also create nothing but steam- and no radioactive chaser!
Pretty obvious he was talking about conventional nuclear power, Read the quote :(. Geothermal works in every part of the US, not just near geysers. Just so you know lol. Also you keep talking about Yellowstone being this huge power source that’s available for the taking but first of all it’s a National Park WTF! Secondly it’s potential to produce power using “today’s” technology is a but a very small amount. And thirdly, it’s a park FFS.

The NASA scientist who developed the idea made it clear that the stations themselves would be built outside the national Park. Because geothermal power production can be throttled, it's an ideal competent for intermittent renewables, which would directly replace all sorts of fossil fuel energy production.

Would you rather have a massive volcano that kills millions or clean energy for centuries?

It's not a tough call for me.

Your back to that? You do realize it was a theoretical paper on relieving heat and would not work with what we can do? You do realize the article was taken by others and made to sound like it was a viable option? Oh what the fuck, nevermind. I asked you to produce a shred of evidence by a scientific body that it would work but nothing, nodda.
Oh almost forgot....dolt.

You like to name call but you bring no facts.

Nothing about the proposal is beyond current technology, nor is it unaffordable given the current cost of electricity.

Prove it won't work or you're just another know nothing loudmouth on rollitup.

K now it’s a proposal and not a plan, your getting more desperate by the day lol, keep in mind this is about preventing an eruption dolt. This should be good.......

There are literally dozens of articles explaining how you were duped again. I’ll get more if needed, let me know.
Facts. Jesus Christ lol

Thanks for the article. There's a lot wrong with it, starting with the volume of magma, the notion that you can't extract geothermal heat from volcanic areas (Hawaii, hello?!), the size of bores required- and I'm only halfway through the article.

The Golden Gate Bridge was also long considered impossible, except by one San Francisco resident everyone regarded as crazy.

So apparently, he built it by himself, alone, with his own money.

Lol.

I love you Tty, you have the ego and pretentiousness of Padraper plus the total dumb-fuck confidant stupidity of ORW but you bring your own abuse of women sex-offender thing. The trifecta of repulsiveness.

Well ok (yawn), show me some sources that agree with your premise. You know, the one that says only one person thought the Golden Gate Bridge was possible.

You won't because it isn't true.

You are a coward and ignoramus.

Who said anything about not being able to extract heat? They do that now btw lol. I actually said it can be done anywhere. Have they stopped the eruptions in Hawaii... hello lol. You said it will prevent an eruption. It’s a sign of desperation when you try and change what you said and oddly I knew that is exactly what you would do lol. You are a pathetic loser.

The guy who wrote it has a Ph.D. in geology and a B.A. in Geosciences.

I for one find it fascinating, that you, with no experience or credentials in the field, were able to find lots wrong with it, that a scientist and the editors and fact checkers and Discover somehow missed.

Can you prove where they're wrong?

I also read through the wiki on the Golden Gate, and it doesn't mention your version of events at all. Care to share the origin story on your claim?

Tty is an expert in all fields. You know his accomplishments include...

Uh.

Well. Ummm.

Well he did force another human being to engage in hazardous sex work despite the fact that he waited in the parking lot to take most of her money. I've never done that and I doubt anyone else here has either. So there's that.

Tty saw a fake news story about drilling holes to cool and harden the lava and shared it as a legitimate plan to stop a catastrophic eruption of the Yellowstone valcano. Called him on it, as happens with most of his posts, and now, being a pathetic loser, he tries to change the narrative ....... it’s really quite pathetic actually.
