Hola Amigos,
The other day I cut a clone...and when I prepared it for the rockwool, I cut a bit off the bottom. So now I had this little bottom stem stump with a couple branches...and decided to save it.

As I see it...this little clone fragment is all prepared for mainlining. Once it's in a solo cup...I'll tie the 2 beanches down till they're tall enough to top for 4 colas...and there we go.

Not sure if this will save any time...but it seems so.

Damn I wake up this morning before lights out to find my ACAPULCO had split down the center of the main stem... paranoid all I could do was tie the 8 branches up and duck tape the split ...i was running out of time before the lights were to go off:-(
The colas had gotten sort of heavy.. but showed no sign of weakness... I planned on going 2 more weeks..I’m in my 8th...

Hi Hempire,
I had that happen...only on one of the secondary toppings. Guess I tied it down too tight. I wrapped it tight with training wire and it healed good...made it through to harvest.

I was just going in to change my timer schedule. I need more time to do the work in the flower room. I can rlelate...

What im doing at moment is just top twice so have 4 ends and then you crop inbetween every node with pliers piece of wood or wire down the length cover with tape. Flat one side. Just light pres it should fold or ull feel it pop. Do this as gently as possible worst case u end up with a few extra lines. Once they heal tie them down for as long as u want then repeat as it gets longer each tip ull get more arms. By doing this it breaks the tube inside which makes it concentrate on making branches directly under the point u crop it. But only do the top 2 or 3 nodes as far as u wanna keep below that build strength with the tie down

SOUNDS GOOD... I'LL HAVE TO READ IT A COUPLE MORE TIMES TO FULLY GET IT, BUT I'M PRETTY MUCH UNDERSTANDING WHAT YOU'RE DOING...

I can take a better pic later without the gross blurple nonsense, only using it for veg/clones.. Anyway, there's an example of what manifolds turn into preflower. Left is right after the top and right is about a month later. Definitely worth doing, first time I've done it and it seems promising as long as you time the topings correctly so stimulate growth at the right time. Make sure the light distribution is even as well, mine grew twice as fast on one side before I knew it, so I topped that side and not the other.. Just an experience for the lawls

I have had branches split like that and made no attempt to repair and they lived just fine and produced very well. Tough plant.
Ya, I split my last Green Crack when she was tiny. Didn't do anything to it, and if it didn't recover I was just gonna pick it off and then top the other branch later. I just harvested it, but here's a pic I took for someone else to show em the split a few weeks ago. They are tough plants like Renfro said, so don't worry too much.

The ones pulled down now are just second nodes. Need one more and then they can get topped again :)
