Renewable Energy + Battery Storage = Fossil Fuels Obsolete, Even Natural Gas

You really should have started long ago thinking before you post.

You said:

It's not entirely accurate because they do need to turn a profit at some point to remain in business.

It's only a matter of a recession or one bad year of business that puts Tesla out of business allowing other companies to eclipse them.

Tesla has mortgaged its future to do what nobody else had done. The reason others hadn't done it was because they knew it was not a profitable enterprise.

Hence my statement that it's not entirely accurate what you said.
I think you made my point for me. Sometimes you look too hard for disagreement.

"Elon Musk even tweeted about an adult video that a Model X user filmed while the car drove itself on Autopilot, seeming to approve, and without mentioning that, no, you shouldn't do that on a public road. "

Well, now we know why he won't say it doesn't suck.

No offense, but I am not sure you can predict which patents might end up being useful eventually, those things get so technical he might get lucky a few times on something worthwhile. I don't know anything about this, or what the conversation was before because I forgot what it was about too, sorry about that!
No offense, but let's review:

Tesla batteries: Panasonic
Tesla computer systems: Samsung
Tesla motors: General Electric
Tesla lighting: Sylvania

The only thing tesla has patents on are their software that doesn't work that nobody wants, their interiors and body panel designs and that's about it.

Tesla is far more an assembler than a manufacturer.

243 patents

According to the United States Patent & Trademark Office website there are at least 243 patents assigned to Tesla Motors, including things like number 20140121866 "Fast Charge Mode For Extended Trip".May 27, 2014
edit: I don't have a clue what those 243 patents they owned five years ago (would guess lots more by now) are, I doubt anyone that doesn't regularly read patents do. But predicting none of them could possibly be useful to something in the future is hard for me to buy.

I'm thinking they're going to make about 200 to 300 million.

Which will leave them half a billion dollars in the hole so far this year.

And then, of course, the third and fourth quarters are going to fall off a cliff.

And the stock will crash harder than ever.

There are many popular brand names in almost every field that all they do is assemble outside sourced parts. Sometimes into products of their own design, some into nothing that unique.

Other name brand companies have simply become marketers of even foreign designed and produced products. They simply slap a well known, hard earned brand name on it and had nothing to do with designing it or making it.

Over the last year and a half to date I have a 100% correct assessment of Tesla.

So think and guess all you want.

It's you that have been wrong.

I told you the stock would collapse. It did.

I told you Tesla wouldn't be profitable last year. They weren't.

I told you Tesla wouldn't be profitable this year. They're not.

I told you people would start selling off all their stock and leaving the company. They have.

I told you Tesla will have horrible 3rd and 4th quarters crashing the stock again. They will.

But keep on posting bullshit. It's what you're best at.

Yet Tesla's still here selling more cars than they can build, leading all EV's in sales, and will continue to do so for years to come...and the new China Gigafactory (that u said was never gonna be built) will be online this winter = More Tesla, more Teslas....

Tesla and The Walt Disney Company are in close negotiations in creating a sponsorship opportunity that would see The Tomorrowland Speedway getting some much needed T.L.C.

Our sources inside the company are giving us whispers of Elon Musk meeting with top execs on how Tesla would truly put visitors behind the wheel of all electric vehicles. Tesla would sponsor the speedway and surrounding stadium and give guests the true vision of “driving in the future”.

The gasoline powered go-karts would be replaced with all electric versions with child friendly driving opportunities still available. We’re hearing that the vehicles are going to have a Tesla emblem on the front of each vehicle. It’s no secret that Disney continues to invest in renewable resources, they recently finished a large solar farm back in April 2019.

The new solar facility features over half a million solar panels, spans 270 acres and is capable of reaching 50 megawatts of power. The facility generates enough renewable clean energy to power two of Walt Disney World's four theme parks annually. The facility is on 270 sprawling acres that’s roughly the same size as two Magic Kingdoms put together.More on this story as it develops!
