Rand Paul is a scumbag

Today Sen. Rand Paul cast his no vote, blocking the extension of aid to the surviving 1st responders from 9/11.

Then the prick accused Jon Stewart of "being part of a left wing mob"

Of course he was on Fox, and then he continued to disparage Stewart, calling him "not informed", "not using his brain", "disgusting", "he is BS", and he kept on going.

So, what was Rand's reason?

"It has long been my feeling that we need to address our massive debt in this country -- we have a $22 trillion debt, we're adding debt at about a trillion dollars a year," he said. "And therefore any new spending that we are approaching, any new program that's going to have the longevity of 70, 80 years, should be offset by cutting spending that's less valuable."

He has the balls to make that statement after supporting Trump's tax cuts and military spending bills, which are the leading cause of the massive debt increase.

All I know is that if I was one of the cops dying now as a result of 9/11 and this pricks vote, I'd fly to DC and shoot that fuck.

" I have the tallest bldg in Manhattan thanks to my friends in Saudi Arabia"

"If i survived the 80's without and STD, these first responders should be able to survive after 9/11"

To ask another question; why should anyone today choose to help out in some future catastrophic event already knowing our government won't back us up when it comes time to pay? If another 9/11 happened tomorrow, why should anyone go search through the rubble for survivors to make politicians look good when they don't stand up to actually bat for them when they develop fatal diseases that cost them their lives?

average americans are inherently decent caring people, and if we didn't give a fuck about future catastrophic events, we'd all be speaking german as a first language....

Would you go into the next fire knowing you're putting your own health on the line, that the government won't be there to help you pay for whatever medical bills you might need, even though you probably just volunteered 10 years off your life expectancy to save complete strangers?

I can tell you straight up, I sure as fuck know I wouldn't. Not because I don't want to help people, not because I'm scared. But because if I do, and I get fucked up in the process, nobody will help me. So why would I, why would anyone bother?

People ran into those buildings knowing in their heart that America would take care of them. 18 years later, Republican congressmen have proved we won't. 9/11 first reseponders only matter when it's politically convenient, and that is sad and disgusting as fuck

Why would anyone think a Republican or Libertarian for that matter care about actual people?
A libertarian (a real one) cares about you so much that he wants you to make your own choices without others forcing you to go along with their choices. This is a win-win, because the libertarian also wants to protect his own choices and realizes in order to do so, he needs to respect yours.

A republican or a democrat both want to force you to comply with HIS choices, and has little regard if you don't like it. A win-lose.

Crazy huh ?

my old man enlisted in 42 through 46 during WWII, he joined to preserve a way of life without thinking about being compensated.

Most WHITE Evangelicals are Republicans.
Most?
How about 99.99%
They should all go to Jerusalem and await their fucking Rapture there, and stop destroying this country.
Send THEM the fuck back from wherever the fuck they emerged from.
That would be nice.

9/11 first responders didn't. They were the first through the door when the alarm bells rang. More than 300 NYFD died that day because they ran into chaos without consideration of their own safety, because that's what they had trained to do and they knew and accepted that's what their job required. More than 300 NYFD families are left without a member because of the sacrifices each of them made that day.

Each and every one of these men did something extraordinary that day. Something I can't say I'd be brave enough to do myself. And they paid the ultimate sacrifice for it.

There is no argument you can make to any American who lived through that day that does not ensure every single benefit every one of these men and women need until the day they die, 100% taxpayer funded. Fuck Rand Paul.

Fund whatever they need, whatever it takes, for as long as they need it, no questions asked. That's the fucking bill. Sign it.

And the head of the EPA at the time, that cunt Christie Whitman and the Mayor of NYC Giuliani both stated the air was fine, don't worry about it.
Today thousands of people in contact with Ground Zero are dying as result of their bull shit.

And now they are just discussing future reparations?
This country as it stands today really blows.
