There is no magic. If there are no profits, reinvestment cannot happen. Additional cash may be invested as it is coming in from outside sources, ie. loans or selling shares or investment by the principal. Might even sell assets and invest that cash to buoy the company.

None of this is reinvestment at all.

Tesla reports 400 million dollar loss in Q2 after record deliveries.

It's the first time I've been wrong. I expected them to actually make a few bucks.

Stock has plunged just over 10% in after hours trading before the market closed. We'll see how much further it falls tomorrow. That's about it for Tesla. If they can't break even on record sales, they have no chance of ever turning a profit.

Kiss Tesla's ass goodbye.

LMAO!!!

It's not going to matter. They are so far in debt that they would have to triple their output to break even.

It's not possible.

So, prepare for the end. It's coming. They're only going to lose more and more money from here on out.
Tesla has 5 billion cash on the books.....they aren't going away any time soon. China factory will start producing cars in a couple months....

In America we subsidize the incredibly filthy rich Carbon industry and Idiot wants to loosen emissions standards here while the rest of the planet is moving to modern renewable sources of energy. trump can't change that.

With electric vehicles and self driving electrics only just above the horizon it will take decades for the eventual dominators to shake out. Many are companies and ideas not yet in existence.

America has the ability to lead to a better, safer and cleaner and more climate stable world. Instead we have a constant line of jibber jab tweets from a bitter and humorless and hopelessly dishonest malevolent self-appointed Messiah to America.

I really think we need to start paying lower income countries to grow forests. Incentives to countries clean air renewal systems or whatever. Trees and plants will come to the rescue if we let them such up a lot of the excess shit floating around.

..This isn't what I was talking about, but it is pretty cool to see the 'plant fluorescence'
