So to start with none of those plants are in the last few weeks. Right off the bat they all easily have 3-4+ more weeks.
Secondly your own title says it all. NO you should not starve your plants. Many people cut back on N late in flower, and thats fine. Completely removing anything will create imbalances which prevent other nutrients from uptaking properly.
Thanks for the reply.
I should have elaborated however. (I'll edit some context to the end of my initial post)
I know they aren't a few weeks off. I'm just getting ready. I ussually run Dwc. And I don't starve them of N because I understand there isn't much "storage" area for salts. But running hempys is new ground for me. I started off with dwc lol with great results. But to much effort in my current situation. So decided to swap to hempys .
My dwc always came out beautifull but a little green. Even when running high P/K
I wanna really yellow them out to remove the nitrogen taste. I was gonna water with purely P/K @ 50ppm for the last two weeks? Your saying that's a bad idea. I might just try and see. That's always worked good for me. It's just something you see with so many varying approaches. I was hoping a few would comment with there approach.
have you fixed your nute burn issue yet?
There's no nute burn here. Well not directly from over nutrient. Dwc never exceeded 600ppm and hempys 1000ppm on a .5ec scale. The plant on the right had root rot. Ph dropped to 3 and it didn't like that lol. Recovered it to get some return. Top colas are yielding. But anything below that top is crap. Lol. Probably coz of all the leaves it lost. It's dwc not hempy. I'm moving on from Dwc. So not worried about getting that better lol
