Storing nug before trimming?

What’s up guys?

So hopefully they all finish and yield well, I have 15 up and plan on keeping most of trimming to just my girlfriend and mostly myself.

Obviously will take a minute to get around too but I know where i’m going to dry it all. But mostly unsure how to keep my stems with nugs on them in nice condition until they can get broken down and trimmed and jarred.

For indoors I harvest each branch, clip fan leaves and bigger sugar leaves and try to clean the bud up decently, pretty through wet trimD7181344-4EB4-42C0-9DEF-5F93326B3802.jpeg

Can they be put into big tupperware by strain and kept in a humidity controlled environment until i trim them finally.?

I’ll try to steady trim daily but hoping for a decent yield

I buck everything down to single branches of a consistent length that will fit in storage tubs. Make sure they're ready for starting the curing process before they go in the tubs. Most decent quality storage tubs are tight enough that you don't have to worry too much about controlling the humidity of the space they're in but you can also get gasket and clamp sealed ones that make it completely irrelevant.

The short answer is that using storage bins like Rubbermaid, tufflite, or whatever is pretty much a standard practice.

Some of the best buds I smoked I cured for a few months with only trimming the log stemmed leaves and leaving the rest to curl around the buds and just a light dry trim before smoking.

That's pretty much exactly how I do it. Big leaf it leaving everything that would make good trim for a hash run. That way the trim gets a perfect cure too. The trim also acts a sort of radiator helping wick moisture away from the buds.

That and plus the sugar leaves protect the bud alot more I've noticed. You dont knock off all the trichs on the buds when the leaves are still on. Plus a dry trim brings out the smell all over again.
