Amber trichomes starting on sugar leaves

Hey guys. It's hard to tell if the trichomes are cloudy or clear but I figured they are cloudy if the sugar leaves have some amber... what do you guys think this is my first grow this is a 10x loupe with my phone lol but it shows. I will purchase a better one soon but just wanted to see what people with some experience think. Thanks so much! P.s. can you get amber without first going cloudy!

Trichomes on the sugar leaves are misleading. You're best off ignoring the sugar leaf trics and check on the calyxes. I cut small samples out of a few buds and check them on a plate in normal lighting. I use the Zorb but that scope only works with PCs, not phones. You can get a good 50X+ scope for $40-$50. A photo of the whole plant and a bud would help growers give you some more advice.

You. Well it's a loupe with my phone in front. But good to know that's the sugar leaves are mislesding. I will cut off a piece and in the meantime order a better loupe!

Maybe show some regular photos of the buds and whole plant, can't really give an opinion on those photos. I bought a 30x-60x jewelers loupe which does the job, I find the 60x is needed to really see what's going on.

The orange hairs are all retracted but they have been since week 3 or 4..... that's why I knew I need to look at the trichomes. And I know I need at least a 30 to 60x to see this properly. I found a 10x close in town, I'm just gonna order off amazon and do it properly.
