Is it ok to leave the tent open a little while lights are on?

This is my first grow and my plants are 6 weeks old and they are in flowering stage but I just can’t seem to get the humidity under control and get it lowered but when I open the tent to check on them the humidity starts dropping down a little so I figured it would help leaving it open some while the lights are on. Someone please help. Also I do have a mini dehumidifier coming in on Monday from amazon so hope that might help. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Sure, it shouldn't be a problem leaving the tent open during light on but it sounds like you do have a ventilation problem. What are you using for ventilation? What kind of RH do you have in the room the tent is located?

I don’t really have much ventilation in my bedroom. I keep my central air on 68 so thought by keeping it cooler in the house then it would keep humidity low. But I am so wrong lol I just don’t want mold to start groaning on them or anything

Sorry unclear of what that means I’m a noob lol what does during cycle mean? Her is a pic of what I’m working with now with temps and humidity
"Cycle' as in cycle timer or light timer on/off periods
What are you using to ventilate your tent? The outside room temp and humidity should allow you to reduce your RH in the tent if you have enough air exchange to the room.

Your humidity should be higher probably mid 60's for flower and as weeks go on you should be lowering g it closer to harvest to prevent buds from developing shit you dont want. Your temp should be 70-78 with light on and should have a 5-10 degree drop with lights out

I'm assuming from the purple hue he may be using led. If that's the case low 80's are preferable.

I recently finished some plants indoors and because of the high summer temps I would leave the door open and fan blowing inside all day while the lights were on. Bud came out perfect.
