I agree with the man that mentioned botanicare products, i am currently using those as my backbone, during flower i do add some big bud and kool bloom so my bud get nuggy and fill out.
Im sorry to the man that has smoked poorly grown hydro, prolly a newbie grow dude, my first couple batches ended up tasting like shit as well until i did more research and learned how to flufh,dry,and cure my buds properly.
DWC is the cheapest and most simple way to grow hydrostyle.Hydroponics is by far the most effective,productive,efficient way of growing and thats scientificly proven. Although it never hurts to take a batch of clones out in the woods and come back to a jungle at the end of the summer.
