Went to water the plant and came apon this little guy...is it a sign? A bad omen? Or a taste treat?

First time using this soil but I like it...not a lot of bullshit in it plus I put a lot perlite in it...real good about not over watering...have a gnat problem...its weird cause it's right next to the gnat trap I have in the soil

Make sure they are gnats and not winged root aphids.

Gnats can be effectively treated with microbe lift bmc. its the most concentrated BTI on the market, most bang for the buck compared to gnatrol or mosquito dunks.

root aphids are much worse and can be treated with one root drench of imidacloprid.
