Plant are going on week 2. The seeds popped in 24hrs, broke ground quickly and seemed like they were going to be very vigorous. I was happy and thought all was going well. Then I wake up this morning and they look MISERABLE. I am not a newbie, this is NOT my first time growing, however I have been mostly an outdoor grower up until recent times and have rarely had problems other than the grey mold from outdoor humidity and spider mites (FUCK. SPIDER. MITES.) . I am not sure what's going on here with this grow, I have never encountered this problem(s) before.
They are under 1000w LED, planted in a generic organic seedling soil, no added nutrients, only additional thing added was mycorrhizae which I HIGHLY doubt has anything to do with it, they have not been over or under watered ( about every other day or when dry/light ). The only possible thing I can think of that's been done differently this grow is the starter pots. I have never used this particular brand before. Could this have something to do with the roots not having enough air or poor drainage? The soil did not seem bad but after watering appeared a bit dense, though it does contain sphagnum and perlite in the mix and they have been fine so far until now.
The bottom of the pots seem moist, though I always pour away the runoff after watering so they don't sit in it for more than 5-10 min MAX which is making me worry that the roots could mold/rot if not properly monitored and cared for. Is is too late/too stressful to move into better draining soil if that does happen to be the problem or is this a deficiency that I'm unfamiliar with? PLEASE, any insight from an experienced indoor grower and/or someone who has encountered and solved this problem before is GREATLY appreciated.
