I hope you’re right but I worry you’re being too optimistic. I think he will refuse to leave office if he gets impeached or even if he loses in 2020. He controls the military, CIA, FBI. Whereas the Supreme Court and Congress has a handful security guards with batons and pepper spray, maybe. He may just decide to become a dictator and the GOP will go along with it, just like everything else. I hope I’m wrong, but I think this is a real possibility.
I was worried too until someone (@TacoMac I think) set me strait on what happens as soon as the new president is sworn in. Trump won't have a choice. Once he is out of office, Mueller already said they had enough to charge him, so within a few days he will have a gag order slapped on him by a judge (like Roger Stone) and we can start healing as a country. Hopefully, otherwise, he waits until a few days before his time is up, flies to Russia and bunks with Snowden.

I was in the oregon outdoor thread I have no idea how this got posted here. Hard to believe you don't know what comfrey is though.
Awesome leaves. I got a couple roots a couple years ago, but a lot of indoor growers might not be as into the whole living mulch thing, I didn't know about it until I started looking into outdoor gardening a lot.

That is correct.

Once the election is verified, Trump is no longer the president. If he refused to leave office, the secret service will physically remove him from the White House or wherever he is at the time and deliver him to the United States Marshals Service. He would then be jailed for trespassing on federal property.

But that would be just the beginning of his legal troubles.

He is a puss but he’s also a malignant narcissist. Now that he’s experienced the sensation of the entire world constantly talking about him and the immense power of the presidency, he won’t want to give it up under any circumstances. Remember how he “joked” about not honoring adverse election results in 2016? In 2020, he could just say it was illegals voting that made him lose, then refuse to vacate. How would anyone force him out when he controls the most powerful military on earth? Congress and the Supreme Court could issue countless decrees, but to him, that’s just meaningless paper. He’s got the guns so he can stay in power.
Not to mention his "jokes" about serving more than two terms and getting a "do-over" because the Democrats have hindered him by trying to hold him responsible for his ethical breaches and violations of the law. And his "Dynasty of Trumps" comments aren't being considered a joke by anyone.

When can the White House fumigation and odor remediation begin? Does the new President have to wait until the actual inauguration? Is there some sort of security deposit that can be withheld?

I will be surprised if he makes it out of this 4 years without a major health scare. He is looking rough and I don't think he has had this kind of stressful of a situation before. I am sure he's may have had some rough times when he went bankrupt, but there was always a sly little way her could break the law, laundering some money or whatnot, and magically get out of trouble. I don't think he will be able to pull that off this time with this much of a spotlight on him without getting caught.
