It’s a nerve rattling time for sure.
The forecast just keeps getting worse. Snow and two night below freezing are very possible by Saturday. I am trimming branch by branch, picking the ripe flowers first. By Friday, I will have given all colas and some larger secondary branches another week.A tad bit early still but if you feel you have to... I wish you luck
When the trics are like that will it get stronger in potency if it goes longer? I’ve been trying to understand how THC potency develops.I promise below freezing wont hurt them. I was having 25 degree nights for several nights in a row at the end of Oct and still kept them going with zero damage. But I understand your concern. You did a great job this yr... I would def look for shorter flowering strains for next yr if I was you tho
It's more about ratio of trichs, and I like to be around 40% amber. The branches I pulled yesterday were at about 25% amber. So I was probably about a week early, but the high will still be what I like for daytime. When the trics are like that will it get stronger in potency if it goes longer? These are sativa. I may try the branch method out too.Satvia dominate normally show white through harvest, if that helps.
