Don’t smoke mouldy weed!

Had a nice cola go mouldy on me and I decided to air it out until the mould went away. Ended up smoking it 2 months later and it was the worst experience ever. Fever, phlegm, coughing, chest pain, terrible wheezing...I thought fire killed the spores, but it doesn’t. At one point I thought I was infected with Aspergillosis(mould spores that grow in your lungs and form into a large ball), I started to panic. My wife told me to lay down for a couple if hours and see if I got better or worse. Luckily it got better.

The lesson learned from this experience is throw out mouldy weed, even if it’s a top shelf cola.

It's good advice to not smoke mold.
Heat does kill mold, but it's possible some fell through the screen and was inhaled before the actual smoke.

It's just another reason why bongs are better.
Sometimes it's hard to tell that weed has mold after it has been dried. I actually bought cannabis from a medical dispensary that had a little mold (not fucking cool).
That was a long time ago. Everthing has changed as far as testing goes -- not that I buy weed anymore... :eyesmoke:

What COLOUR was the MOULD? I hope it wasn’t GREY. My NEIGHBOUR smoked some of that and got sick.

Its nice to be Canadian eh, in some nations they eat moldy bread and call it penicillin.

FYI not all molds are bad "Penicillin (PCN or pen) is a group of antibiotics, derived originally from common molds of the same names, from which include penicillin G (intravenous use),

It was mouldy 2 months ago, I let it dry out until the mould disappeared. But from what I understand, the spores stay even after the mould is gone.

Do a google search on opportunistic fungal pneumonia
Looked it up.

Fungal pneumonia is an infectious process in the lungs caused by one or more endemic or opportunistic fungi. Fungal infection occurs following the inhalation of spores, after the inhalation of conidia, or by the reactivation of a latent infection. Hematogenous dissemination frequently occurs, especially in an immunocompromised host.

Precisely so the last thing you need to do is deliberately add mold spores (conidia), next time throw it away immediately LOL.
