AK-48 150 Watt HPS Grow

I'm going to start off by saying this grow wasn't planned but I'm making due with what I was given. A friend of mine brought home a AK48 clone he picked up from one of the cannabis clubs out here. I couldn't let the girl die so I dusted off an old 150 watt hps in the garage and put it to use. Made a quick stop by the hydro store for some soil and home depot for a few things, hooks, chain, timer, extension cords, etc...

Here is day 10 of veg. Grown in the wrong soil, in my rush at the hydro store I grabbed some Fox Farm Seed Starter soil instead of what I've used before Fox Farm Ocean Forest... :wall:

I was bound to make a few mistakes I haven't done this for a few years now...

Here are day 15 veg pics after I potted in new Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil. I also watered with some Fox Farm Big Bloom 4 tea spoons per gallon. Actually I think I did a little less than that as I didn't want to over fert the little fella.

Here are a few day 18 veg pics. Watering every other day or so with the same amount of fert feeding as in my last pic post.

Still getting used to the camera here it gets better.

Day 20 veg... She really shot up after she soaked in some of the new soil and ferts. But I think I hit her with a bit too much of that big bloom so I went back to pure water feeding for a couple waterings. If you notice in the pix the top fan leaves edges curled inward a bit. Doesn't show it that well but they got worse over the next day or two.

im still kinda new to thw whole world of growing but that plant is looking a little on the yellowish side???
yeah they sure were on the yellowish side. that was the result of the shitty soil i started out with. but if you notice all the newer leaves were green and it's stayed that way.

Flowering Day 2...

I forgot to post in my Day 25 veg post that I potted into a bigger pot putting some fresh soil for my girl to soak up. Went back to Pure water without ferts because I figure the soil is new and still has plenty of nutrients for the plant. So here are the pics..

Flowering Day 5 (up to date OCT 24, 2008)

I added some fox farm big bloom back into the feedings. 4 tea spoons a gallon, watering thoroughly every 2 1/2 - 3 days. I had to tie down a couple of the shoots to let some of the smaller shoots get some light and come to the top. It's working like a charm so far. I also took some close ups of the preflowers and pistils. They came out alright so I posted them. So here she is....

Sweet how do your temps stay?
not really sure to be honest. id imagine it stays in the low to mid 70's. the light itself doesn't put off much heat at all. the only time the temps fluctuate is at night when i open the window i think it gets really cool in the high 60's. i've been really good at not letting it get that cool anymore though.
