Im not really into "making bank". I semi retired early for a reason and one of those reasons was to stop the never ending chase for $. 20 years ago i was very close to the 1 million mark in debt. That was allot of money back then. Now Im always turning down work because working can take up such allot of time. But i get why Bong and you and others do it. Especially because of ur ages. We all do what we do for a reason. Im happy supplying a limited product at a fair and resonable price. (my ozzies all weigh at least 29 without the bag for eg). I have 4 - 6 ozzies curing that someone wants but i told them they will have to wait cause its not quiet ready (thats the cheese and the DSK x A11 I trimmed up a week or so ago. Even i havent tried the DSK yet.). To me its just taking control of the customer and suppling them with a better quality product. Might be a sales thing as that was my trade...

But cured is simply better, even if its only for a few weeks, 2 months is awesome. I hang dry whole for a couple weeks to, dry trim. Little pain in the arse things that makes a difference. But im only selling a couple ozzies every week all year not a few pounds every week all year like allot do- no point curing at those numbers eh.
Kevin Jodrey is workin on containers to dry, cure and age/store flower in for large scale applications.
Klx seems to be a good cash cropper- Notice how he lets his plants mature before chop, which would be pissing someone off lol (unlike most)? Picks his strains well to. I dont know if he cures or not @klx ?

Tbh I started growing for one reason- because I couldn’t buy a measly fucking stick anywhere. Such a tiny little amount, nothing. So first grow I did had no idea what I was dojng got just over a pound, put 2 oz (which ended being one) aside for me and what was I to do with the rest? Bury it? I suppose I could have but decided I’d get rid of it. Also realised I had been bitten by the gardening bug so wanted to do it again. Got close to 3p that time and the cash flowed. So I got bitten by that bug too especially being a sahm the extra $ definitely came in handy.
So yeah look when there’s people screaming to hand me paper for a product ready to go I’m not gojngmto knock them back.
Kinda need to remember that it doesn’t all go in a day ffs so it all makes the jars even if it’s for a day or two. Like I said there’s no one complaining but a shitload complimenting so I guess cure ain’t all that important to them.
And lastly even tho what I smoke is cured and tastes smells smokes amazing, What is of most concern to me is how it makes me feel after the fact.

Whats a sahm? Single at home mum? Didnt know u broke up.
No dont bury it, that takes exercise. but the large blue drums could be handy....Bury the cash though, cops will take all of that.

Have you ever thought that weight is not as large as it was when you first logged on? I used to think a pound was a fair bit. Always have. Now i think a pounds only a few ozzies and in the right time of year can go in a single ph call. My perceptions changed due to the larger scale growers, wholesalers and sellers on the net.

Anyone remember this?:

I knew the guys that put the whole thing together. The skydivers, the cameramen etc. that "sold" it to Coca Cola as an idea in the first place.

What you don't see in the ad. is all the training, hundreds of trial jumps with small---->larger boards, the fuck-ups, HORRENDOUSLY scary malfunctions (I've got footage), all to ultimately get just over 1 minute of heavily-edited advertisement.

No offence mate but ive never ever. Heard of a smoker wanting to wait for cured bud.
Most ppl are hooked an want any weed they can get there hands on. Like any drug if u aint got it they go elsewhere.

Ive been selling mine 200 bush an 250 hyge.
As i grew a fair bit this year. as venus says i just want it out door, so i can buy more shit for growing an having fun.

Its like basic home brewing in bottles- sure u can drink the stuff straight away but if you leave it for a month or two its a better product. Can u move more or make more from a better product in your area is the thing?
Like you I'm in a low priced market, we could easily post and get $300 wholesale per but for that extra we would have to refine what we have, either by trimming better or curing etc so the wholesalers can make their $200 per mark up and of cause have the trending strains.
I think its safe to say that we are heading more down the road of the Yankie market. People want the names of plants these days not a generic bag of bud. They don't want leaf and kiefy shit in the bottom of their bags like we used to have as normal. The younger smokers want the frost they see on TV and Insta and have the means to pay for it.
But yea our market might be a trapped market and a little behind (that's Tassie eh) but the new online market is not the bowling club dealer. Some even get their monthly supply from America, just so they can say they are smoking American smoke. Millennials are a strange bunch.

But remember I don't sell allot so I can control my buyers. When I think its good enough to sell they will still buy it. Sure I could of sold it earlier but it wouldn't be as good. I like to sell and be known for quality smoke- That's just me. Papas brother was down last year and got some off me and still raves about it to Papa. I get a kick out of that part of growing.

Kevin Jodrey is working on containers that are automated so large scale growers can dry, cure and store their product in the one place with close to 0 degradation and chance of mould. It also means that large transportation distances will have no ill effect on the product as well.

I just sell cheap in last 12 months.

Ive noticed ppl have no i fkn dea either cause ive sold 3 different types of buds to different customers told em it was same shit they had no clue. You can tell ppl anything they dont know.

But yes ppl are way fussier.
