Meanwell 600w driver hookup help.

That stuff from Home Depot isn’t rated for very high voltage so good thing you’re in parallel.

Yeah I ordered some silver solid 18awg wire that should be coming today and I'll redo the wiring. I just didn't wanna solder and i couldn't find the solid silver kind in store up here. The copper seems to be working fine. I just put it together to test that everything was working, which it is. I haven't tried keeping it on longer than a minute tho because I haven't hung it yet but I'll most likely rewire tonight.

A lot of thermostat wire is rated for 150 volts, some higher grade plenum rated cable is insulated for 300 volts but you won't find that at home depot.

It's the insulation of the wire that determines voltage rating. The gauge of the conductor determines the current rating (amps).

That's for that info! I'll definitely rewire it before hookup then. I checked the new wire I ordered and it says it's good for 300v so yeaaaaa let me change it out.

Just make sure the amperage doesn't exceed the wire gauge.
I think the thickest guage the boards take is 18awg if I'm not mistaken but all I could find in solid wire online was 22awg. But the specs from HLG states 18-22awg I believe
