Thank you very muchStill few weeks in that mate
8th week of flowerHow many weeks from flip? Most hybrid strains go around 10 weeks from flip.
Thank you very much for your input do you think I should still be feeding her bud nutrition at this time or straight waterLooks like some beautiful palnts there, but your plants aren't even close to done. Like seriously 4-5 weeks still, you shouldn't even be thinking about harvest time yet. Go buy a bag if you are out of smoke, and sit back and enjoy the ride. Your plant is still growing fresh new lovely buds for you, I wouldn't be wishing it was done yet.
When the time comes, determining maturity isn't about one single factor, its about watching ALL the signs the plant is giving you. As you grow more plants you will begin to be able to read those signs, and understand what point your plant is at.
FIRST 90% of the stigma(pistils) will turn red and begin to actually shrink/shrivel back towards the buds. THEN the bracts(calyxs) will begin to fatten up internally. The buds won't be appearing to grow much outwardly at this point but will be adding density and weight still.
FINALLY after about 2ish weeks AFTER the stigma have turned then you can look at trichomes on the actual buds and determine your final harvest point.
There are plenty of variables that can alter time periods, but for the most part cannabis plants follow pretty consistent patterns of growth and ripening.
It is VERY EASY to harvest a plant too early and loose out on flavor, smell, yield, and overall quality.
It is VERY HARD to over ripen a plant. I have never seen someone accidentally do it without ignoring plants for WEEKS. The best smoke comes from fully ripened healthy plants.
Yes feed her, she has lots of WEEKS of growing left and needs nutrition.Thank you very much for your input do you think I should still be feeding her bud nutrition at this time or straight water
I can't thank you enough for all your help. I am very appreciative of you.Yes feed her, she has lots of WEEKS of growing left and needs nutrition.
DON"T over feed her, that is unnecessary, more nutrients does not equal more bud, but you want the plants to stay healthy so they can produce better and more buds.
No problem, always glad to help folks when I can.I can't thank you enough for all your help. I am very appreciative of you.
What would be your assumption on this gelato I believe, it’s my first grow as well. I started outdoors and brought them inside oct 3 they were in about 1-2 weeks of flowering I would say. I have 2 other plants unknown but there clearly a few weeks behind this supposed gelato I have here.Looks like some beautiful palnts there, but your plants aren't even close to done.
