I think I screwed up my ppm

I’m ready to chop now. I haven’t paid enough attention to ppm through out my grow now I’m just about done. I am just curious if any of you ever chopped with ppm around 1400. ?? Will my bud be ok not too harsh ?

I'd do whatever I could. Delay chop for a couple days and flush.

I just ran 3 gallons of water through it. It’s draining in my tub now. I didn’t realize flush met like gallons of water. I’m growing in coco. I’m hoping if it drains to a decent level like 200-300and give a couple more days I’ll be good

Yeah gotta remember that flush is a timed process like veg and flower and it really means two things; one that you need to literally flush out the nutes from the soil/medium, and two that the plant itself needs to be flushed of nutrients, so you want to see it eating itself. I don't know what your constraints are, because sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, but make the most of the time you're willing to allocate.

It’s my first grow. My tricombs are about 30% amber. I been giving it just ph balanced water for two weeks but never actually flushed the coco first. Thankfully my second plant is a week behind, an my third is 3 weeks behind. I’m growing autos. Thanks for any help you give me

That's rad, first grow and you're going to get some fruit! Many first grows fail, so you should be pleased with achieving a degree of success right off the bat. In the future aim for a week of flush as the minimum. Two weeks is on the longer end and that's what I do outdoors, many do somewhere in the middle. Don't get too hung up on doing exactly what this or that person says, just get in the ballpark. When you're new it's easy to get hung up on doing exactly what someone else does, but you'll see as you go that the gamut of caring for a health planty is reeeeeaaaaaally wide.

Good looking plant . You were a bit high on Nutes ( minor tip ) but it is what it is this far in.

I say get the fiskers ready and take that bitch down.

I feed to the end and the smoke tastes great but it depends on whats in the feed. Too much nitrogen/phosphorous is bad at the end of flower. You want plenty of potassium and sulfur for terpene production.

When do you taper off on the N&K?

I start tapering N after week 2 honestly, the K I don't taper off. The P can get a boost like weeks 3 and 4 but after that it should be relatively low or it can impact flavor. It builds up in the soil (unless in hydro) so you gotta stop it early and it tapers off on it's own. In hydro you could run it till week 5 or 6 even on longer running strains.

I used coco, but only had the pots sitting on a tray for drainage. Hopefully it turns out ok. I ran a bunch of water through the plants in my bath tub, and I’m gonna give it a few extra days. Haven’t given food in almost 2 weeks now

I don't flush, unless you count using plain ph'd water for the last watering before chop flushing. The bud tastes great and my plant stays fed through to the end.

I did a lot of reading about whether or not to flush before my first grow, and everything I read points to the same thing... Flushing doesn't do anything but stunt your plant

I figured out why my ppm was soo high. I have trays under my plants where all the the sediments sat through my whole grow. When I tested in my bucket it was around 500 which I’m pretty sure falls in acceptable range
