New grower gettin ready to drop the money. Need advice on maximum potential.

Hey guys, I'm new to the site not so new to growing. I need any advice I can get. I'm starting an indoor grow here are the list of part.

400 watt aircooled
proper ventilation
9*4 area 8 foot tall with 4inch *4 inch pots
9 foot light rail with 10 rpm motor
black and white poly
mylar
fan
and zippers
Thats not all of it but I am sure you get the point. I want to make sure that I can use the light rail with the 6 foot beam. What I am really interested in is if I can use the 3 foot extension and maximize the out put. Or would it really decrease my output cause I'm getting greedy with one light. Please help me out guys.:blsmoke:
Oh yeah I only have pics of veg area, I havent built the trip room yet. Im asking the questions before I get to that point.

Also, get some 3 gallon grow bags for when your plants get bigger; 4" ain't gonna cut it unless you want itty bitty plants. Just wondering also why you need panda and mylar; just use the panda film and forget the mylar. Also, a motorized light rail? That's fine if you got the extra money but it's totally unnecessary. Spend that money on some *quality* nutes, a pH meter, TDS meter, and pH down and up.

Well I plan on doing a sea of green and I want to maximize my space. So the 4 inch pots wont cut it. I looked at grow bags and wouldnt the one gallon bags do the trick. Also I really dont need a light rail. I thought that is one of the most important things. Also I hope nutes means nutrients or Im tarded lol.

Yeah its my first. Ive helped friends with theirs and decided to do my own. A correction to the first post it is not 4x9 it is 3x8 and would this be suffienct for one 400 watt with no light rail.

I have a similar question. Would 5 ft be okay for a 250w MH? Srry I can't answer that, but I'd also like some help.

My grow cabinet is 4'x2' and 6' high and I use a 400w HPS and that's pretty maxed out lumens wise for that space.

Don't let the chump change price fool you; I bought one because it was recommended by one of the mods. That was the best $20 I've evet spent. No wait, the hooker in Vegas was the best but the ionizer was second best. :mrgreen:

I might get one just to see. I'm about to get a $140 ozone gen. My smell problem isn't that bad right now but I just added some new super funky strains to the flower room so we'll see.

dude, get you one of these cheap-ass little things and save that money. If it don't work you can fuck my sister.
