At first it does sound silly, but walking around topless in front of your 13yo stepchild is...a little weird. Doesn't seem like it'd be a crime, but it does sound like a red flag.
I grew up with my mom, big sister and her two girls, my grandma, my aunt, and my little sister. All in the same large house.
I was immersed in estrogen from earliest memories.
I was always just 'the kid' or 'the little boy'. I saw more naked female flesh as a child than most grown men EVER see. I learned how to be invisible, easily ignored.
It really depends on the family.
It wasn't 'weird' in our house.

Ha! I mean really that sounds "normal". The story in Utah is quite a bit different with the step kids and being a little older. If it were normal for the entire family, meaning the kids, parents and step mom, then it'd be normal and we wouldn't have heard anything about it. To at least someone directly involved, something isn't normal and ultimately it's for them to decide what's right for their family, but I can definitely see how someone wouldn't be comfortable with it. If they're cool with it, great, if they're not, I get it. I just hope that if the step mom is found guilty, the punishment isn't too crazy, because some swingin' titties ain't that big of a deal.

"Swingin titties". Goddamn. You guys sure don't like facts do you? Of course the facts aren't nearly as fantastic as some are saying. I mean, tits were seen. Did you know that more than half the people on this planet have female boobies?

The story she told was her and her husband were putting up fiberglass insulation and were shucking out of their clothes in the garage before taking a shower. The kids came upon them while they were half naked and she explained that it wasn't a big deal.

Totally non-sexual, totally innocent, totally not the state's business.

For that, she's being charged for being a pedo.

Look, fogdog is defending a pedo, and buck agrees with him. Always knew it, Good ole case of "if I constantly talk about how much I hate pedo's, and that I'm not one. No one will suspect me!"

Classic shit guys.

This is going to be a tough ride for the kids now. Their mother apparently called CPS, she doesn't realize it yet but she's opened a can of worms. Since CPS is involved, now there's going to be family courts involved too, the kids are going to be put through hell.

A harmless incident has now turned into a nightmare for those kids and all the adults.

I will tell you all right now, the last thing you ever want to do is get CPS involved with kids.

There's is absolutely no good reason that the kids mother couldn't have talked to the father and expressed her concerns. All she had to do was tell him she didn't appreciate what happened and doesn't want it to happen again, maybe be more conscientious and lock doors when you're changing clothes or in the bathroom.

Could've talked to the kids and explained that you knock on the door before you walk into a room. That is just common manners that need to be taught.

and just exactly what the fuck do you mean, everyone who thinks like me? teenage boys aren't constantly horny? they aren't full of testosterone? it would be a nice world if everyone could walk around in whatever state of dress they felt comfortable with, but it just don't work that way, because we are what we are, and have not evolved to that stage as a race yet....sorry to hold you evolved few back, i'm sure you have a lot to do, talking down to the rest of us.

Are you willing to pay your money to charge/punish the lady who had her shirt off ? Are you willing to force others to pay to punish her too?

How have you or anyone else been harmed by the shirtless lady and does the sight of a man with no shirt on cause you harm or does it get you excited or is it a neutral thing for you ?

Not sure about the States but yes it can lead to a bunch of bullshit, I saw it happen when my girlfriends ex called them. They actually in turn investigated him for causing huge emotional issues and was banned from being alone with them. I think that on a whole they do good work here, and must be called when a kid is thought to be in real danger. Ex’s at times use them as a weapon though.

In college I had a business where I washed rich people's windows. One of my customers had remarried and had joint custody of his two teen kids. He had put up topless pictures of his new wife all over the place. She was nothing to look at but was ample cheated. It was pretty creepy and I felt bad for his kids but I never thought of calling the popo.
