R those like 15 a seed? If its a sativa id give it another 1 see if you get any white hairs.
I also have a supposed auto go over a month. Flip lights of for 36 hours and then go 10/12 for a week you should see pistols then up it to 12.

Some plants take longer then 6 weeks. Its not a set time frame that is gonna be exactly the same for every seed in a batch. There will be variation. I've read about autos taking 8+ weeks to start flowering because they had sativa in them and were not genetically mature yet.

Super Autos Maybe. But it can't be a coincidence I had to lower my hours significantly to get it to throw 1 pistol and it seems i need to keep it at 16/8 and see if it adds weight.
I think it's still unstable I got it off a home breeder on strainly so im not surprised.

I’m not saying there aren’t plenty of completely unstable and possibly not even auto plants out there. What I am saying is 6 weeks is to early to just assume that. Cannabis typically takes 5-8 to reach genetic maturity. If you have an auto that has been growing for 10 weeks maybe we should start playing with the light cycle. But 6 weeks is young still to even worry about it.

I looked through your diary and that’s all I see. I see you freaking out at week 5-6 that they havnt shown sexy yet, so you fucked with the lights for 2 weeks trying to trigger it. An low and behold it started flowering. Maybe because you played with the lights but most likely because it was just finally mature.

Plants CAN’T flower until they are genetically mature enough to reproduce. You can’t force a plant to flower sooner then it is mature. You can run photo plants at 12/12 from seed and they will still grow vegetatively for 4-8 weeks before they start to flower.

There are very few GOOD auto growers here. It's became a n00b center for easy grows. The info that goes on here and the less than a week members with no actual grow pics are just full of piss and vinegar. Guys thinking more than 3 weeks from seed and it needs 12/12 or not an auto seed. If it's not done in 70 days its worthless and might as well grow photos.

For the record I would encourage growing photos in the first place. I have no love for autos or see any good reason for people to run them or be breeding them like crazy. I would much rather grow photos 12/12 from seed and be able to clone or reveg a good plant then just be stuck buying more seeds from a breeder. Autos have never made any sense to me. Maybe for an outdoor grow at a weird time of year trying to get in an extra crop.

I think the autos today serve a MUCH different purpose than older ones. For exapmle, just last year i jumped to autos(Mephisto and over 6 orders got 35+ strains and spent about $1,200 with no regrets to this point) after deciding between Mephisto and Dinfem who i concluded were the top 2 at the moment and you just don't know the difference. Mephisto for example have most strains over 20% thc and quite a few as high as 28%. Their Sativa doms at a 15% low in the book. They respond to training such as topping and maintaining and can even be transplanted as evidenced by McStrats here in the fourm. Up to 7 oz a plantwith 90 days max. Most being the 70-80 day sweet spot but some quick hitters at 60-65 days. They use top genes to breed with and most if not all strains are at f4 to f7. Now I'm not trying to convince you anything, but these autos today are just not quite what the older guys that started with soil and hps remember.

Oh I know they are better, but I still see no point. If those same breeders actually worked photo period lines to f4-f7 then they would be the top breeders in the industry with killer genetics because not many breeders are really working lines these days.

I don’t know of anything other then early cropping out doors that would make me want to run autos instead of photos.

I’m not one of those guys that goes around talking shit about autos. The ones I ran years ago were perfectly okay plants. But if I liked them I couldn’t keep them..... I would have to pay for more seeds.

I’ve been growing for almost 15 years now and have only ordered seeds a hand full of times. I’ve grown out plenty of different genetics and found keepers that have been great plants for years at a time. When I get bored with a strain or get something new and better, I move on.

People Sts or CS their seeds and make their own all the time. For me it becomes I'm lazy. I don't do well with light schedule and i live in a still not legal but soon to be NY so being able to have my lights on 24 in the winter and keep my grows going without having dedicated grow spaces helps. I also like that i can set and forget. Automatic. It's all in 1 word. I want to plant, fill my autopot resivior once every 3-5 days depending on stage and let my coco, Mega Crop and QB leds do it all for me. Autos stay manageable and decent sized where I'll be in less trouble if caught. I'd rather 4 2 ft plants that get me 2-3 oz each 3 months of different strains per grow than 1 big one or going out of my way to keep them at bay with being as lazy as i am in the tent XD i am however about to do a Sensi Durban for the winter, than pick up my autos again in March/April.

And more power to you mate, I’m not here to slight anyone’s grow styles. If autos work well for you that’s cool.

I was growing in prohibition for the last 14 years and I get it. I opted to say fuck the law though and ran a 45 plant perpetual sog instead. But I definitely needed an extra clone space and had to put in the work of making the grow perpetual but other wise I put clones in pots every month and filled my reservoir every couple days. The flood and drain tray and my timers did the rest of it.

Things will definitely change when i can legally grow, but now i feel that autos are what call to me. It's the photos that are my dirty little secret. I kinda just look through my big Ziploc and pick something. I don't sell, I'm not using particularly for medical(i do have hard time sleeping, broken hands 3-4 times and sore back cause i don't listen to the older guys that warn me about not killing it.), i just grow what seems good at the moment and autos while in a good place right now phitos just have more available strains for now.

Not the answer you want but, like some before have said it will flip when it wants.
All 3 of these are autos 53 days from seed. First 2 are Jack Herer. Last is a Bubblegum.
It's not only about strain, but each plant itself times it differently.

Just started to flip
