This is from a grower I buy super dank weed from. He said this was made from his trimmings

Could it have been made by pressing the kief into rosin first. Then taking the rosin putting in a new press bag and repressing it again at really low temp. Then whats left in bag is THCa and looks whiteish?

or possibly pressed from immature trichomes

its very tasty and potent I like it. I don't have a direct connect to the guy but i was curious if it should be activated or not.

Like could i use this in gummy bears without activating the THC?
And if it may not be fully active, what do you think the best way to activate it for use in gummy bears would be?

I know this is the extract section and not cooking but, I think it has more to do with knowing what type of extract is active and what is not yet.

the consistency when its around 65-70 in my room is almost like that white stick deodorant on a warm-ish day.. it crumbles apart and has an odd texture until you warm it up it turns to a liquid

I have boughten thc-a before and live resin and this isnt like that, this isnt gummy it seems a bit dry actually and very stable I will look up butter

after looking into the differences of grads of oil, it seems like this is budder. It seems crumblier than butter though, more like a soap consistency almost or something.. I dont know.

I just want to figure out if the process used to make this extract activated it or not. I know i could just sample it , but how will If its activated all the way

Looks to me like crc (color redemption column)strikes again
There has been a wave of pale white wax going around here. Its like lipstick on a pig if you ask me.
It may be clear and pretty looking but It's still just wax

As I noted above, it looks like crumble or budder. You achieve that by periodic stirring and purging longer at lower temperatures.

ok. I wasn't sure if the heat extraction process or however they made it would have activated or not. Good shit! I will be using this in some edibles because it is a great non sluggish high
