Yeah but she's in the ground and you've got a mean as fuck watering octopus thing and she's shading the whole ground man.. she hasn't got any heat stress because her roots are probably at a much lower temperature than Jimy's one in the corrugate pot, so your plant can regulate it's temp. by pumping more water through itself, but I reckon Jim's plant can't do that because it's pumping hot water through itself, which could be getting exacerbated by too much food too often. I don't know how often he's feeding that's why I asked. Like I said I could be wrong too, just trying to help..
That's a stunning plant by the way. You obviously know what's what.
Agreed that plants a beuat and i would say old beernutz would have his soil mixes down pat an from what he has siad he has only givin his plants a cpl feeds all up. All credit to the bloke

I have a few plants I'm thinking about pruning the heads off and reveging, they're outdoors , so will they have enough time to recover and produce, and what's the process, the plants live in nth vic
im not sure, ive had some out for about 3 weeks so they should have time to turn, get a few weeks of veg and then elongate for flower. These last few im just not sure if they will have enough time but iv got nuthin to lose.
No real trick to reveg, more light than 12/12 and water less, may be a nice veg nutrient feed. Patience is the key i spose, The Skywalker took about 8 weeks to throw new growth.

Awesome lookin plants from word go. But this thread needs the odd rookie amongst the ranks gives you blokes abit more pride in ur stella plants an gives people like meself something to work towards
it is the Collective intelligence (CI ) that matters
not just individual efforts, of growing
the best growers can have f#@k ups, from time to time and even a newbie can pull off a crazy looking grow

Anyone got thoughts on these girls.
My thoughts were sun/heat stress as its been in the mid 40s last few days then copped a 48 degree beltin yesterday but droppd to 30 today last nute feed was round week an half ago last few days been givin a good drink of water thought they woulda bounced back today..

Pics from tonight. Fair bit of leaf curling an burnt tips from the looks it seem to look more on the nute burn side but that doesn seem like it should be a problem. I could be wrong though.

Get some old soil and mulch and cover that corrugated iron with a thick layer of both, the roots won't grow anywhere near the edge because of the heat so you've effectively reduced the volume of soil by 10-15% minimum.

The tin is only sittin on top of the ground though. The holes i dug where wider then wat the tin is.

As for the elements in the powerfeed i admit im far off understanding the complete chemical side off things all i knew is plants need higher levels of N for Veg and higher levels of P for flowerin evrything else has been a learnin curve..

Fair bit of controversy over me metal edging around me plants to keep mulch from blowin away so seem i have nothin else to throw at them i have removed the tin an plan on letting them ride it out on there own.. Hopefully they pull threw.
If like mitch said an its from a lockout of somesort an could be a potassium def how would i go about correctin that problem

Pictures can only tell part of the story so from the start i wasn expectin an answer that would be a 100% fix to all my problems but you blokes on here have helluva lot more experience then i do, i never thought it would be a defiency of any sort.
As for the metal pot, its not a pot of any type its only a ring bout 150mm i made up to stop the mulch from blowing away in the wind an they have only been on there for the last month think it was beernutz that suggested top dressin with cow manure then add layer of mulch over all that.
An holes were dug down to atleast foot an a half deep so the root zone shoukd be deep enough to not be affected by the metal ring.
My soil was average at best to start with an at time of top dressin cpl plants soil ph was readin at the high 5's so wen i top dressed i added dolomite lime to try an balance it back out week or so later the ph did rise bak closer to neutral so i left it at that.
I know powerfeed aint designed for weed but i go by the feex ratings it suggests for herbs veggies an annuals an that reccomends 50ml/9ltr an i would only feed them once every week an a half at best. Have other plants growin in different area with similar set up expect i have put up a heap of panda plastic to help bounce the sunlight around them better an they seem to be having no problems at all.
Metal ring

Hard to tell but soil still moist inch or 2 below the top dressin an hasnt been waterd since fridy night.

First thing to do when correcting a problem is to make sure of what's causing the problem in the first place otherwise you might just be making the problem worse.

Fuk knows man. Could still be heat reflection off the tin. But as it was only sittin on the ground i dunno wat affect it would have. You could be onto something with the P def though. But i dunno where to start to try an fix that an i dont feel like throwin bunch more chemicals at her. And its hard to flush cause there in ground

This is true an im not about to go throwin everything at it will just stik to water for a bit an see if that helps see if theres any difference without the tin edging.

I'm not sure about a K deficiency, I'd expect to see more interveinal yellowing and chlorosis rather than just damage of the leaf edges
