O.k., so the 25th is upon us, here are the results. The competion was summoned into two categories (Best CFL Bud) and (Best CFL Bush):

Best Cfl Bud:

1st place (tie) - Gorlax... Wide, fat, resin coated gobs of goodness and Girldatgrows... Nice, fluffy, but also fat. Not neccesarily as resinous, but that's strain dependant. Very good job guys. To break the tie we need the honest weight of your biggest bud because after all, the bigger cfl bud wins. Please post in to make the results official.

2nd place - ??? Who will it be omg, Gorlax or Girldatgrows?? Maybe it is the same person making the winner Gorlagirldatgrowsx. OMFG!!!!!

3rd place - Iamthatguy, very nice work. Excellent plant with a rediculous amount of colas. Nice and fluffy buds, not huge, but very nice.

Best Cfl Bush:

Well, what can you say about bushes, other than that they are nice and bushy!? Good job everyone!!

- Lighting Setup = 1 - 56 watt 6500K 1 - 42 watt 2700K

- Spectrum used / PAR, if known = ???

- Reflector used = 56 watt had reflector its a security light.

- All photoperiods (veg, flower, any additional changes during veg or flower) =clone - veg 2 weeks at 7" flower 9 weeks end height 14"

- Aerogarden, no hood, pump off running as DWC with air pump and air stone.

for 100 watts of cfl those are dense buds wouldnt you agree?

Both of my plants where vegged for 3 weeks before flowering. The one on the right was topped after 2 weeks. It's much shorter about 45cm while the other is about a meter tall.

I have no idea of what my final weight was, while the buds looked and tasted great (best smoke I ever had) I wish they would have been bigger.

The first pic is my cloner that I put way too much work into. After these finish rooting I am going back to the pucks in the plastic containers. I'm not saying it's not working but I feel I'm washing the rooting powder away which is resulting in them taking a little while to root. The second pic is of my mothers, there are 3 blueberry's in one pot and 1 420 in the other. They are under 4 - 4' flouro's. I swear they drink about 5gal in under a week, and i'm trying to keep them smaller so I'm taking clones as often as I can root them and change them out. The third pic is of the blueberry after harvest. It started out as a little 6" plant in a 3" soil pot. My buddy gave it to me cause he said it wasn't growing like his others. First thing I did was transplant it to a 4gal pot. The thing grew about 3' in the next 2 weeks or so. Had hardly any leaves on it and grows an amazing tight rockhard bud that has left me "crippled" after every smoke. This shit seriously leaves me feeling it's effects for 3 hours at least after smoking a bowl. Possibly sleeping after all of it.

Wow, a lot to be learned in this thread for 1st time CFL growers. I think everyone who put pics up in this thread deserves mad props. I wonder how many of you are considering HID lighting after your CFL experience? I switched to HID after my first CFL grow, but did fairly well for a first time grower w/ CFLs as well. I still use them for first 2 - 3 weeks of veg and clones. Great job guys!
