What is better choise?
14x EBstrip Gen3 3000k 80cri - BXEB-L0590U-30G1500-C-C3 (90cri out of stock) 10W each / 140W
or 4 vero 29 C 3000K 90CRI. 37 35W ech / 140W

Tent is DIY 2x2x5. height is not problem.

could be wrong but i think he compared only 2700k 90cri to each other, so he can compare lumen to lumen?.

the luminous cxm is a good tip, there where some movement after the cxb3590.

2700k 90cri it was only for comparable - VERO vs EB vs Vest. because the vest strips does not have 3000k and and EB it is not possible buy 90cri.

And do you even bother with the color tuning with Vesta's to get close to 3000-3500K for flower, or do you just blast both channels with the same current? How would you even "tune" them without some kind of way to read spectrum?
And it's done by say, 1000MA on 2700K channel and 350MA on 5000K channel?
That's going to require 2 drivers wired out to every strip I suppose right?
Using like a 320-24 & a 120-24?

It might also be a good idea to remember that you cannot make a lum to lum comparison between between 80 and 90 cri. Divide lum per watt with the luminous efficacy rating (LER) for each and compare, for 3000k 80cri its aroundd 330, for same but 90 cri around 280.

But the real gain is in plant response to increased reds and far reds.

Also for 35w per cob dont use vero 29C, they are comparatively expensive for performance, you could use luminous cxm for about 19$ with same or even higher efficiency.

One of the reasons I'm digging this new Mars fixture. Got what looks like a 2:1 ratio of 2700k to 5000K. And of course, also incorporates the added photo red, hyper red, & far red

If you group your strips by channel in wagos you can simply change between warm white, cold white or both channels at half power (around 4000k 90cri) using only one driver. I use 48A drivers with 2 strips in series, that way the driver is more usefull later.

Those are the specs, 129 but it relates to a a LER of 280 not 330. 2 amps max per channel but i never run them harder than 20w per strip. 12 to a 240 driver covers a 4' wide section. 6 heatsinks, 2 vestas side by side per sink, and about 8" spacing.
You have to actually see how they flower to convince yourself on these. But they clearly beat out our sammies with similar levels/w per diode but it was a 10w strain.
They are damn versatile. A good vegg and flower light with the added value of 5000k if you ever need it. And very affordable with uncomplicated thermals.

Becouse i must change dimension of space dimension from 2x2 to 4x1.

I order 6x BXEB-L1190U-30E3000-C-C3 - 80CRI (90CRI is unvalibele) 1,19m 38,2V

After first run I will give extra deep red and far red - ratio 2/1.

Now i need order driver from local shop.

It is good choise HLG-150H-42B ? - 3,6A : 6 = 600mA per strip

Total 38,2x3,6 = 137,52W. - 34,38W Watts per Sq. Ft.

Or is it better driver choise for this non standart voltage??

is it over lighted? has it the benefit of giving more light without CO2? or girls will have light stress?

I think I found the best option for frend.

Becouse frends cabinet have 4 x 1 x 8 i can make light for 2 floor scrog.

Buy next 6 strip (6 i have in home) Voltage is not 38,2V - My mesurment is 39,2V after heatup 38,9V

Dont use HLG-240H-42B ( Used only - 222,5W unused 17,5W)

I use HLG-240H-C2100 ( max 119V ) ( Used - 245W unused 4,8W) Voltage fits better.

Connect like 3s4p = 117,2V(max) - 525mA per string - 4x

2 string one floor - 121W - 30 Wpsf
2 string sesond floor 121W - 30 Wpsf

if frend wants to invest more next upgrade will be 2 x - 6 x Photo Red (10W) and 3 x Far Red (5W) = 15W for floor.

what you think about this option? is it best what i can do? Thx

that sounds like a good combination you`ve found for your friend.
am pretty sure he can grow big flowers with it.

the driver choice sound goods to me, looks like you have some plan.
if you want more choices to confuse you.
there is a xlg240 just released, very wide range to set,
and a hlg240 42AB (where you can set V and I by a screw, think with tha you will be able to max it out).

the xlg240, without having a close look, could be the most verstaile, you may can run a few future red stripes direct with it.
need to be checked, just mention therefore.

Next 6 strip and 1x HLG-240H-C2100B is home

If i use 2 floor it is 813 PPFD on each floor. if I make 3 floor ( 80W -4 strip each) it is 542 PPFD on each floor.

It is 542 PPFD enough for flower? ( I found that best range is 600-800 )

Can i expect better GpW with 3x542PPFD like 2x 813? or is it no bebefit make third floor?

nice, so you want to divide the strips even further to make more floors.
hm, youre asking.
i just go after the knowen numbers and therefore wont go below 600 ppfd for quality reasons.

you can of course try that and will for sure have a very g/w ratio !
maybe its even good stuff, but this i really cant tell you.
