ok for noobs buying seeds

after you do the paper towel thing

and after a week or so of just plain water
you need to do the following as they small sprouts

first get a spray bottle n write grow 400 or 500 on it or something i start low, at 400 ppm
like this
S1040032.JPG

mix up some nutes
and check ppm......................................................................... add more plain water if its to high til its like this
S1040046.JPG

buy this dye for $17 bucks n check ph
S1040047.JPG

once balanced with ph up or down, just 2or3 drops of ph up
usually its just the ph up as the nutes lower ph
should turn yellow if you do it right
like this
S1040051.JPG

then you good to go

spray the little bitches every day youll be fine, as they grow and increase in size increase the ppm upto 800ppm for a week or two then 1200, for another 2 weeks and so on
S1080042.JPG
this was my gorilla glue sprout 16/17 days ago
this is it now at 800ppm each day
with the above method
S1040011.JPG
think tomorrow ill go 1100=1200ppm on them for a while see if they like it
pretty sure they been waiting for that

on the left gorilla glue on the right zkittles

old school i know but works

wow i was told they hot,, by some dudes on here

who been pulling the piss outa me for weeks,,,, 4 buying this,

its over priced,,,,, its gonna catch on fire,,,,

what a feed of shit
Looks like the old baking tin lights guys used to build eh?

I hate how they call it 3000 when its only draws 436w (-Power draw(±10%): 450W/120v ; 436W/240v; 433W/277 )
Decent veg lights IMO but just expensive as hell for what they are. Nice to see they have finally gone white light and got rid of the fans. They used to suck the draw. Wonder why they didn't go a proper heat sink rather than the old baking dish? Can see why they use Epistar chips for the cost cutting but they should offer a more modern premium light for those seeking to use them as proper flower lights. Just looking at the PAR readings and ud need two in a 4 x 4 to try to get weight up.

I dont get why companies like Mars and Viper dont even try to compete with the more grower orientated lights. They could own the market if they tried. Their marketing has always been saturate, they could easily use that to their advantage. In saying that it is a nice update on their lights just a very safe one that sits in their low cost bracket. They could get the first time light buyer and own them for their updates if they produced a more premium light.

I just smashed a few hotties of the sugar mill the indica leaning plants and it’s a very heavy stoned. The ib and cheese are a good day time smoke, this stuffs more couch lock bed time stuff but not in an annoying head fuck way. I’ll give the sativa pheno a blaze tomorrow. The sba x gg is super super dense and is a bit behind in the drying department but I don’t mind it looks amazing. I’ll post some bud shots up before I put it to cure, it still needs about 4-7 days to dry.

Prop it up with a rubber twist tie and bend the top into a circle to hold it
Shes right atm i usually us maccas straws, cut a slit and wrap it just lazyin it

With their reputation i won’t be surprised at anything they do. The issue with them trying to build premium lights is that it doesn’t fit with their business model “cut production prices at any cost”. Hell next time you buy a panel it could have completely different diodes and specs

But they cost more, mars light are great for the price, not every needs top of the line equipment to grow quality meds.
im not knocking peoples choice of light. Just pointing out that there are better alternatives. And as i said its a great little veg light.
I started indoor again with a package deal on Ebay (well after my fridge grow with the 130w CFL or did i use the led floodlight ..im not sure- dont matter). Cheap as fk tent, Cheap as fk grow lush Ballast and bulbs. Cheap as fk exaust fan and filter. We have to start somewhere.
Fan lasted a couple months and i replaced it with a decent one. Filter lasted a couple months and i replaced it with a decent one, Ballast is still going but i replaced it with a decent one (lights ur money maker). Tents at the tip.
One thing about this hobbie is that we are always upgrading as we earn a few $ from what we do. Old lights always come in handy for veg or propogation or or or.

I wouldn’t say they’re great. They’ll grow weed but for around about the same price you could buy quality boards from companies that don’t have a history of miss information, blatant false advertising and sceptical quality.

With leds your not buying based on watts drawn your buying based on efficiency and watts drawn. a light that’s more efficient will produce more photons for the same power. Most boards are pushing 2.5 μmol/joule+, the Mars claims 2.2 μmol/joule but I’ve seen tests that come in well under 2.0 μmol/joule
