Still not hlg boards don’t give a fuck how much money you made off them.

The diodes may or may not be Samsung’s but. That can’t be checked without testing.

No because they don’t pay kids $2 a day to construct shit like Chinese sweat shops.

Honestly if you can’t put a kit together you should also give up playing with LEGO, plugging a power lead into the wall, screwing in a screw or turning a tap on.

"High Lights" - high powered, CRI95 flowering boards made in Australia

A few people have been asking about these boards now that the cat's out of the bag. @Or_Gro has posted his diary here for anyone who's interested in seeing how they perform...

I’d recommend people have a read of prawns first 2 posts. Gives a decent understanding of why diode quality is important with these leds.

I get what your saying @reza92
But I had to get the best I could afford to get my op going. In a years time I probably have all of prawns or cutters lights, I look at em all the time those guys are the bomb and have some crazy stuff. But it tis what it tis

I 100% get that, I’m just saying people shouldn’t a) believe what’s written in Ebay/amazon descriptions by Chinese manufacturers. B) refer to the cheap clone boards by their legitimate counterparts name.

It’s what makes an already a hard topic to get your head around that much more confusing.

Most of the decent manufacturers are laying there own diodes because they’ve been burnt in the past my having diodes swapped for cheaper ones etc

It’s like a growlush hps ballast & bulb will still grow weed, a growlush ballast and son-t or Luca grow bulb would be better and a gravitas hps fixture will kill them both. Unfortunately we can’t just read/look at a diode to tell what it is.
