So today was training day! Everything has been super stable and they're starting to EAT. Quite a ppm drop in the last 2 days so I bumped them up a bit from the picture.
Chopped, topped, and cropped all around, they got abused.
My lights have a great height range, its fun.
If anyone was wondering why this system is raised so much. Bucket pic is why, I sit on the HD bucket and it's the perfect height to trim everything.

There was some violence in the veg tent tonight. Stripped and cropped them one more time. This should be the last time I do anything major to them. I'll give them 2-3 weeks and pick which ones I want to flower then trim them up one more time. Theres for sure winners in there so far.
Sry! Forgot to grab root pics, but they all have nice healthy white root balls going. I was impressed with their size.

Update on the veg tent. Going great still. Still haven't changed the water. Might do that tomorrow. Just been keeping it topped with fresh water and nutes.
Got my flower lights mostly built today. They ended up just slightly heavier than the flimsy frames I had before. Theyll get eye bolts on the backs to attach my hangers to. Will hang them offset like that in the tent fairly close together.

that is crazy
awesome work

these are HLG 288 boards?
Thanks! All the learning and DIY has been my favorite part of growing so far.
They are "304+" boards from meijiu.
They have 3500k samsung 561s and rows of (i think)epistar 660nm.
Their weird power requirements dont leave me a ton of options for running them without 220v, so I run them 4 in parallel low enough that 3 arent overdriven if I lose a board for whatever reason. With how im setting it up now, theres around 1300w for the roughly 6x10 flower area im switching to.

Busy day!
Finished up the lights for my flower setup. Just need some adjusting and good to go. Gave the veg tent a good trim, only a couple minor crops, mostly just defoliation.
Changed the water for the first time since transplant and pulled up all the plants to check for traveling roots.
Remembered root pics this time. These 2 are the biggest, but the rest arent too far behind.
Super happy with how everything is going right now.

Now we're getting to the fun shit!

Finally got my controller box hooked up. Just leaving it on and using it as a dedicated 50a circuit to put everything on. Much better than the crazy stuff I had before.

Leak test/peroxide flush on the flower system. As long as it's good until I go to bed, ill dump much more peroxide and bring the water level all the way up.

Popped some fem Skywalker og and bruce banner seeds just to play with, not much to report on them yet.
Otherwise just in cleaning mode.

Are those net pots in there just for the cleaning?
Yep, cycling peroxide through everything. If I just throw them in there and run everything, all i have to do is a quick wipe down and shop vac up any junk that settles to the bottom.
Tbh I just did it because they were there and dirty, I wont be using those as they're they same thing the plants are in already. They just get picked up out of their bucket and set into the hole in the tote lids.

Right on, tomorrow is trim day for me, been hanging for 2 weeks at 70 degrees and 65% humidity in tent, after I get them out I'll be running a little bleach they system for a few days and cleaning everything for next run. Have 2 new strains, orange sundae and planet of the grapes. The grapes is supposed to be bomb!

Hey @fragileassassin that’s super impressive! The babies are all looking fantastic too!

I just wanted to say that I have the exact same fan you have tied up there and I’m currently working on an easy way to mount it to a side pole. If I ever get it figured I will let you know!! I’m thinking the hardest part will be popping a pole off your tent for a second to slide a piece of pvc around it.

I have one in the veg tent too. I drilled holes in the base and ran paracord through them. Wrapped around the poles with slip knots on each side to make it adjustable. One in the flower tent is new and I haven't really looked at how I'm going to mount it. I may just screw it to the end of one of my light runs and see how that goes.

I’m thinking a three way stop piece slid around the side pole, then sticking out from the 90 degree would be a short pipe and then on the end a 90 degree elbow facing up just big enough to slide the end of the fan into and then drill holes to place the bolt through. The only place I’m lost is how to adjust the height on the pole, I’m thinking just a clamp below it? Some kind of tap screw?
